Nice first post - thank you for using cards tags - remember you can also use deck tags too. The more explanation the better, for example you don't mention budget and you didn't post in the budget section so I am going to suggest some Vintage staples.
You are asking for help with a vintage deck, I think you might really want to be in casual, unless you are planning on competing in tournaments.
First off - probably regardless of it's use either Kitchen Table or Tournament, you want to play more land 20 land. I know you are playing Dark Ritual, but it's too few.
Next I would suggest adding at least Mox Jet and Black Lotus. Yawgmoth's Will would be a great way to reuse some of your resources too.
In competitive vintage, I don't think you should be running Darkness, Word of Command, Bloodseeker or Plague Wind - all of these cards are predicated on your opponents playing lots of creatures - a fair amount of Vintage decks will be creatureless or play only a few creatures.
I could go on and on, but I am going to point out Black's strength, it's discard and you are playing to that theme, to aid it you might include Thoughtseize and Duress - don't go overboard but they are certainly strong cards that can influence the game early.
I am not going to go into this further, but just wanted to give you a few suggestions to start you off - good luck on your journey.
thanks a lot for the reply, i always thought the go by for lands was a third of the deck needed to be lands. How many should i have? any special lands suggested? And yes go on! i'm trying to improve myself, i've always played in the same circle and we always had an issue building competitive decks. So the more input i can guet and discuss the more i think i'll be able to improve my game. I'll try adding yawgmoth's will, thoughtseize and duress. We'll see where that will lead me.
22 Land in a vintage deck seems ok. In a environment with higher casting cards you certainly could go higher.
Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth makes everything into swamps including your Cabal Coffers and Maze. Strip Mine and Wasteland take care of problematic lands or disrupt an opponents game.
