The Ice Age has ended, but his/its relics still lie asleep in New Argive

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again"
This is the mana artifact that Snow-decks have needed. Much better than Coldsteel Heart as it can produce any color. I might end up rebuilding my old Snow based commander deck again with this card.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
"Masques Block is the worst block ever! There's not one decent card in there! The whole internet say's so, you're literally the only person who ever said it was good!" - random noob in a conversation with an Eldrazi.
Several decks in the format will be running it. I would venture to call it a "staple".

I think this is the first cantripping 1 cmc artifact in modern that doesn't require an activation. That is relevant because certain combo decks might really want this, especially if it can be paid for 0 with a cost reducer. Can it? Not sure about snow mana.
My thoughts exactly. It converts mana to any color without casting a card and can be play on the first turn. Quite a good package, but it can't be played everywhere since you need a snow basic to play it on the first turn. (AFAIK, there are no dual snow land that can ever come into play untapped, even conditionally.)

It cannot be reduced. You'll always need to pay at least 1 snow mana for it's mana cost. Assuming it's not, 'cast for free' rather than just a reducer like the new ugin of course.
I'm pretty sure it can because snow is generic. Its just an indicator for mana from a snow permanent.
The rules were updated for war of the spark in anticipation of modern horizons.
107.4h The snow mana symbol {S} represents one generic mana in a cost. This generic mana can be paid with one mana of any type produced by a snow permanent (see rule 205.4g). Effects that reduce the amount of generic mana you pay don’t affect {S} costs. (There is no such thing as “snow mana”; “snow” is not a type of mana.)
Interesting...in my Winter set, I had a snow artifact named Snowflake Crystal that cost 3, tapped for C, and could be cycled from the battlefield for S, functioning like Mind Stone. Here we have more of a snow filter with a cantrip.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Also resembles Barbed Sextant, Chromatic Sphere, and Chromatic Star, though all of these need to be sacrificed to net you the mana and the card.
It also turns the mana into snow mana, which might be useful.
Both fixes non-snow mana into snow mana, and makes off-color snow lands better, while being card-neutral.
Beat me to it.

I mean, Coldsteel Heart is a mana rock, while this is a 1 CMC Prophetic Prism, so you really can't compare the two.
