I feel like I want to include this guy, but there isn't really anything I'd like to take out for him. I might switch Fyndhorn out for him if I like the artwork but that still isn't that big of a deal to me.
As I have a 360 unpowered cube that still needs work on being great, I'm definitely putting this guy in. I needed another blue finisher to run alongside Consecrated Sphinx and didn't Titan or Jwar. This is the guy.
I use the silver Dragon Shield sleeves and I love them. I've never had sleeves that felt this good before. As for storage, I use a metal AKG case for a condenser mic that I have. With my 360 cards, fat pack full of lands, dice case, some 20 sided die, Planechase dice, and Planechase cards everything just barely fits. I'll probably use another box soon though for my extra dice and Planechase cards.
I've chosen to go Silverblade Paladin over Mirran Crusader and Riders of Gavony over Hero of Bladehold because the rotation more easily puts the arguments between the two to rest. Turn two Lightning Mauler into turn three Silverblade Paladin is enormous. The protection from Riders of Gavony is also great, even if it's just against a non-tribal's biggest threat.
My B/W tokens deck performs extremely well against a lot of different match ups. And Sorin is great in the deck for putting in that extra damage. A lot of people try to put humans in there and to me that just makes it too slow.
so...i'd need 5 cards out of 7 lol. 8 if i'm on the draw. its not as hard as it seems. U,R,W isnt that hard either lol. Seachrome, Island, Sulfur? sure, its a pretty good hand, but it IS doable more times than you'd think.
as for dumping them, just dump them with Faithless Looting, simple. also, board wipes are generally sorcery's and dont hit gideon when he swings...this does. it leaves a lot open, because realistically you'd need 5 mana open, and if your playing control, that isnt a problem generally. so...wipe the board, next turn lay a titan.
what i pointed out is just ONE thing that can be done. Miracles are pretty good...especially if you build around them right. thats all
I built a U/R miracle deck myself that works just like this one. I don't always have the Snapcaster, Noxious, Thuderous Wrath combo but maybe 7 out of 10 times it's easy to pull off. And if I don't, then I have other answers to hold them off until I can pull it out. Yeah it's not completely consistent but it is really fun to play.
People, you're playing a card game. There's never 100% skill in any card game. Experience with your deck, reading your opponent, and building your deck efficiently is of course, all skill-based.
Top-decking a miracle card or any card you or your opponent needs to win is not. It's the same exact concept.
Now with that said, I like the miracle cards. It makes the game a lot more interesting and lifelike, because not even the most skilled professionals in any field of work can be prepared for everything.
Working on a Boros control sort of deck that has a lot of fun interactions. Things like Fiend Hunter, Restoration Angel, and Zealous Conscripts with Cloudshift and burn and removal.

So much butt hurt in this thread.
And then I'll be revamping my UG Splinterfright.
Graveyard Dandies
lol I guess it's that red mana.
But yeah, for 2 mana, this is awesome.
