Because you're in lower tier play and people don't know how to deal with him.
Oh, so it's just a low level thing? He doesn't do that much damage and straight tanks aren't hard to stop with the right items... It just seems like his ult is annoying in teamfights?
As long as you can land that wall well anivia will always be amazing. Having high base damage, rebirth, a stun, and a big aoe slow only further pushes her to extreme levels of amazing. She is a bit tricky to play thoug and her last hitting pre 6 SUCKS.
I'm not going to argue that she isn't good (i think she's excellent) but hasn't she been kinda buggy lately? I keep hearing that her Q disappears sometimes and the wall pushes them back instead of blocking them off.
The biggest reason why GGU lost the final game was because Blitz didn't get an oracles for mid game. Their team comp was all about catching people out of position and bursting them, not team fighting. TSM had better ward coverage so they didn't get hooked and got to play relatively safe.
I was pretty disappointed that no one on GGU would tag baron while sona killed wards in the baron pit. Its like a free 300-400 damage because she can't tank him.
I'm glad GGU did as well as they did though, its nice to see an old teamate do well
I think another big reason is that Orianna couldn't do much mid-late game on their team. She only got her ult off once IIRC and just got melted in teamfights. I wish ZionSpartan went in more though. He just dominated in game 4, but there wasn't much of him in game 5. The lack of oracle's wasn't great, but DayDreamin played a really good Blitzcrank IMO
I was playing as Warwick in a Proving Grounds match (blind pick, all melee, could only build Zeal and once you have 6 you can upgrade to Phantom Dancer) and a teamfight broke out. Their Jarvan ulted and I took the 2 inside the cataclysm, ulted someone outside, killed someone else nearby, and chased down their Nocturne.
Get a +1/+1 counter on the Thoctar with those enchants on the field, then shoot the Thoctar with its ability so it gets 2 more from Rite+Doubling Season, and continue over and over until you can unload all the counters at the opponent's face (note that this kills the Thoctar)
This is actually fantastic in my opinion. It's going to be definitely widely played in EDH (along with every card in every other set but In Standard, it seems like an awesome way of stopping Sphinx's Revelation, Staff of Nin, and Griselbrand, and this craps all over JTMS in Legacy. It could be great sideboard material and completely turn games around.

Normally in Draft Normals (I'm level 25 I think) I like to ban Vi, Malphite, and Thresh

That makes me sad that DoubleLift got to AllStars
Now that all of Dragon's Maze is spoiled... It really isn't too exciting in my opinion

Obligatory Pestermite/Deceiver Exarch+Splinter Twin/Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker
Make a token of Exarch or Pestermite and copy it over and over, untapping the either itself with Twin or Kiki-Jiki for infinite hasty tokens.
I'll probably enter the other rounds though, and I'll be sure to vote.
Anyone excited by anything in Dragon's Maze?
