There is a dispute process for that. The funds are not released to the seller until the buyer accepts the trade or a dispute is resolved in the seller's favor. The obligations for sellers and buyers are outlined and are very clear and precise. Dispute will look into all pieces of evidence, including messages between the two parties, scans and photos, previous history etc. CS dos not provide insurance (because unlike that other site we can not print "pints" and drop them from a helicopter). We may offer insurance in the future when we gather more statistics from the disputes. Sellers are encouraged to use shipping insurance when the value of the package is considerable.

    Hi guys,
I'm tdb2 on Reddit and I'm one of the founders of CS. I'm also a long time salvation user. Used to hang out here a lot before I started sinking all my time into CS.

I understand your concerns. All of them are valid. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
I just want to say that I have personally been working 80 hour weeks (40 day job + 40 CS) for the last 8 months. My name and address is public record as a director of Cardsphere Inc., a Canadian federal corporation. I am 34, married with 2 kids. Not really a portrait of a scammer, eh? CS project was born out of frustration with that other project, and the desire to show that better is possible.

Elves have neither reach nor bolts. So if you keep them off of creatures with spot removal or sweepers you are ok. It's usually the case. Moon is not entirely dead against them as they play black/white splash or nykthos sometimes. With goblins you have reach and haste. And the moon is dead 100%. That's the difference.

I find some of that interesting as to your matchups favorable vs. unfavorable. How many game ones did you play vs. sideboarded games? I've been working on my own variant and yours shares some similar ideas.

Been playing 4-round events an several LGS for the last couple of months. I played some matches 1-4 times, plus sometimes as many games as there was time left in the round with certain opponents. Let me explain:
    • Elves, humasn, other tribal is obviously weak to sweepers and 8 spot removals main. One exception is goblins. Unlike elves they can just double grenade soon after a sweep to finish the job.
    • Against agro we have 4 walls and 8 spot removal with 4 of them gaining life.
    • A whole swath of decks fold to resolved blood moon. Game 2 even if they managed to fetch out their singleton basic in key color it's getting boomed promptly. I manage to lock out jund, eldrazi, burn (!!!), UWR geist and many others before they can do anything.
    • Affinity is winnable game 1 and good after sideboard
    • UWR control may be able to stall and win game 1 if moon gets countered.
    • Matchups where sweepers and/or blood moon don't matter much are the toughest.
    • Infect is OK, unless they have an ink moth-centric draw and you don't have an answer.
    • D&T can tempo sometimes. They don't care about blood moon.
    • titan shift is just tough. Blood moon will not stop them G2-3 since they will bring removal and big bodies to diversify.
    • Gifts will reanimate Iona, name white and call it a game. GY hate is tough for this build. We need our GY for dwellers, flagstones needs to hit GY for it to trigger. So rest in peace is hurting us. Cage shuts down dwellers and Nahiri ultimate. Relic is nonbo with stony silence (can't bring both in case of, say, thopter gifts). I use relics as the least bad option.

Here is my list. I have been having very good success with it last month.

    Matchups I played (excluding brews):
    • Very favorable: elves, humans, delver, bant eldrazi
    • Favorable: jund, UWR control, melira company, UWR geist
    • Even: infect, burn, D&T, kiki-chord, UWR control, titan shift
    • Unfavorable: goblins, gifts,
    • Not played yet: tron, dredge, soul sisters, scapeshift, affinity

Utopia sprawl is a non-starter, IMO. We can only have like a max of 6 forests or so. A simple dork in its place would be better.

Whaaaaaaatttt? I played an illegal deck! That's not a LOL, that's a WTF! Not sure what I do now...

Edit: I was absolutely sure wild growth was legal. I should self-report myself to WOTC for a one year suspension.... :-( My wife will be so happy if it happened.

So I've been playing bant eldrazi for a while and decided to give this one a spin for an FNM.

Beat humans, elves, RUB control with empty the pits as finisher. Kozilek's return says hello in all those matches. Lost to kiki chord beatdown because I could not found any Kozilek's returns in that match... the card is MVP.

Wild growth over over utopia sprawl because it can enchant karplusan forest, which oftentimes is our only source of green in hand.
Goyf was good, 4/5 most of the time: land, instant, sorcery, creature.
Sylvan scrying and worldbreaker underperformed. Worldbreaker is too expensive even for this deck (24 lands + 4 accelerants). Sanctum of ugin was dead, could have been a better utility land. So the options are:
    • get rid of the package: -2 sanctum, -2 worldbreaker, -1 sylvan scrying, +2 ghost quarter, +2 flame slash, +1 endbringer. Weakens Kozilek's return a bit.
    • double down: +1 sanctum, +2 worldbreaker, +2 accelerants, -4 goyfs, -1 cavern
    • half measures: -2 sanctum, +2 ghost quarter, -1 sylvan scrying, +1 flame slash

Wild growth makes this deck the same speed as bant eldrazi. Let's compar T2 thought-knot: we have green source (12) + wild growth (4) + temple (4). They have green source (15+ counting cavern) + dork (4-6) + temple (4). Temple + temple scenario is the same. Wild growth is unboltable acceleration while bant eldrazi often looses the dork right away. On the flip side hierarchs' exalted is very good and lets them swing past walls and goyfs.
Bant eldrazi has path, which is the superior removal to bolt. We almost never want to bolt face, therefore path is way better. I missed it.
They own combat much easier than we do. Exalted + drowner + displacer.
The only trick we do better is Kozilek's return Smile

I have been having very good success with the deck lately 4-0 and 3-1 my modern FNMs in a relatively competitive meta. Here are some observations:

    1) Skyspawner > Reshaper. Skyspawner is great for infect, affinity, delver. Reshaper is great for mirror (allows you to come back into the game if they are faster), jund, zoo. Skyspawner is way better under blood moon. I run a basic island in my build. With a basic island out, spawner gives you C, just like drowner. There is no other way to make C under blood moon with common builds of this deck.

    2) Displacer and spellskite are key to infect matchup. Many builds have very few ways of removing skite game one. Don't overextend into threats and keep up as many displacer activations as you can until you can drop a displacer. Skyspawner helps to stabilize against inkmoth. Always bluff path to exile.

    3) Ghost quarter is amazing. I run one more in the side. It's great against infect, affinity, tron, mirror, jund.

    4) Spellskite is key to infect (as discussed), bogles, mirror and burn (pre-board). Do not keep them against burn post-board! It's a trap! Side them out for some life gain instead and let their destructive relevries rot in their hand.

Remember, very few things beat T2 TKS in modern Smile

    Fracturing gust.
You can mill them with TKS+Displacer.

My micro-report: I played an FNM with the deck too.

    1) Value/midrange grixis. 2-1. Played 5 games in total, lost one to Liliana and a fast clock. Very good matchup. Baloths are MVPs.
    2) Eldrazi tron. 2-1. They have the same eldrazi package, but their high-end is more devastating. Even matchup. Thought-knots and crumbles are MVPs, spot artifact removal is good too.
    3) Abzan. 2-0. Played 4 games, lost no games. Very easy matchup. Baloths are MVPs.
    4) Jund. 0-2 loss. Lost part to his good draws, my mediocre draws, me sideboarding incorrectly, and me misplaying due to him obstructing visibility of his graveyard (intentionally or not).

The deck is strong. Probably better than RG scapeshift (which I've been playing for 2 months now). This deck has higher density of threats with some being lower on the curve.

One of the most problematic cards to deal with is Liliana. Her +1 is good and -2 is good against our lonely creatures on the board. Baloths are MVP against her. I am running no less than 3 from now on. What are the other options to punish Liliana?

All right! I'm from Ottawa too and I know all the local participants of this thread. They know me too Smile

I have just built the deck. The tiny change I made vs the base list is -1 Valakut +1 Cinder Glade. Having played RG titan-shift extensively in the last weeks, I can tell that you don't need as many valakuts if you are not playing 4 titans and 4 khalni gardens. Outside of scapeshift, you'd rather not see valakut in this deck. Cinder is another green source, it's 11th mountain and maybe comes untapped.

One thing that worries me is infect matchup. It has to be abysmal. With titanshift you can bring 1 melira from the side to make it virtual 3 in the deck with the help of 2 mainboard summoner's pact. No such luxury here. How do we beat infect? Ideas?
