Cursed of Stalked prey, or pierced heart can bring some faster speed to your side.
Rakish Heir and stromkirk captain bring more damage potential to the board. question is vamp midrange control, or vamp aggro.

Jun 16, 2013spoke with you on cockatrice, looking things over, on a limited budget. sideboard possible Talara's Bane (hate for g/w creatures + life gain)Posted in: thnkr Blog
if using arena, I'd recommend some amount of life gain. if board states stall out, you've put a clock on yourself. all they have to do is survive, you'll kill yourself for them.
towards that point, demonspine whip is a fine bit of equipment, but cheap and efficient is the order of the day.
that one costs you a ton of man to present an offense with.
Banshee's blade is a solid option. any combat damage equipped creature deals, puts counters on it. creature dies, the equipment retains counters. and equipment gives equipped +x/+x where x = counters on banshee's.
also Cardkingdom has it posted for 35 cents a copy. imagine other vendors are selling for lower.
I would also suggest Bloodhusk Ritualist, if you're going to keep a 24 land count for a slower aggro deck.
Great top deck, can rip apart an opponent's hand with just a couple of kicks. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
first set is large. more open slots for these lands.
next two are small.
so guildgates, and 3 colors decks play green for gatecreeper vine, and manaweft. as nonlands permanent based mana fixing just got better. ie chromatic lantern, keyrunes. hell chromatic lantern alone makes it very possible with basics to dodge a lot of issues, along with just a couple of duals for 2 color decks.
Hell, if G then we'd get access to selesnya token critters, advent of the wurm, hurray if rancor is reprinted with Ajani's Chosen?
Was listing support cards. plenty of instants/sorcery that deal damage/make tokens in r/w.
question is whether or not the cards available make it work it.
boros charm + rootbound defenses against board wipes.
ajani's chosen + the enchants for more creature output. probably not worth it but something i'll check out.
ajani's chosen + ogre battledriver, and playing an enchnamtnet allowing for a seriously boosted creature, with haste, in addition to effects.
This would be a midrange boros. less all in with aggro, but more late game steam, between burn + lifegain from path/warleaders, + free creatures.
Legion r/w enchantment, intangible virtue. All. Possible until Theros hits. Think it might be fun.war leaders helix, the flashback white card rally the peasants, the token making red elemental spell.
Just need another enchantment that poops creatures in r/w and itll be amusing
Glissa is a strong card, that unfortunately is vulnerable to many types of removal, but she must be answered or they lose in combat with ground creatures.
For other searchable legends, have you tried nath, of the gilt-leaf.
Thalia and hokori would be a decent lock against any non creature deck.
Thrun is effective, when you need to get a 4/4 that almost can't be removed.
Otherwise he is over costed. I find Mikeaus, the hallowed can be an excellent fetch, due to synergy with finks.
my decklist was posted a bit back, and has gone through some significant testing/revisions.

i hope to put in some copies of Sudden Death, the -4 and split second is quite excellent. I find it is the easiest way to deal with infect, and twin. kite can't redirect a split second card, and -4 will kill any one of their creatures.
linvala is an excellent way to slow them down, as they won't be able to bolt/helix. only bounce. and i can run few copies, due to time of need. same logic for 1 of 2 types of sword + steelshaper.
Tron, RG and U are both damned difficult. that match i hope to fulminator mage a tron land and extirpate. once that occurs i can keep them off of their higher curve items through sword of light and shadow + fulminator.
Vault skirge is their simply because it is evasive, glissa can return it, and its a 1 drop critter other than drs. and the lifelink is valuable.
by the same vein, you can use illness in the rank (creature tokens get -1/-1) and that stops both reatures that they use. exarch becomes a 0/3 and pestermite becomes a 1/0 and dies.

sideboard is still transforming. i've been facing twin lately. finding champion has some hilarity there.
The mana base ha the white splash due to a previous incarnation with sun titan. finding glissa and wurmcoil to be a better setup, with how the deck feels like it should run. 4 skirges for lifegain, as well as the 4 finks. with the shocklands/fetches/confidant can easily burn through a lot of life.
looking for some more critiques. currently weak to tron, due to karn just exiling everything before i get a chance to destroy him.
canonist was in my sideboard, but considering working in rule of law instead.
shuts down storm for the most part.
the sudden death was for the infect decks that run apostle's and vines of the vastwood. seriously annoying deck.
light and shadow to run more recur/lifegain/aggro.
just need to figure out if it plays better with glissa aggro, with spot removal, or play control, and gain pseudo card advantage with creature destruction, and recurring use of cards.
i added eternal witness in as well, when i'm home i'll update my list.
Gavony could have a spot.
I have a 1cmc artifact reusable for discard.
Not the best, but it is cheap.
Also augur has proven decent. Chumps well late game with regen, and has the option to force two discard.
Worst case, he eats removal, or counters that glissando doesn't have to.

Sideboard is currently slapped completely together.
Options yet to be considered. Vault Skirge
Karador, Ghost Chieftain
tide hollow sculler
tainted sigil
and salvaging station + executioner's capsule is fun.
