Cursed of Stalked prey, or pierced heart can bring some faster speed to your side.
Rakish Heir and stromkirk captain bring more damage potential to the board. question is vamp midrange control, or vamp aggro.

Jun 16, 2013spoke with you on cockatrice, looking things over, on a limited budget. sideboard possible Talara's Bane (hate for g/w creatures + life gain)Posted in: thnkr Blog
if using arena, I'd recommend some amount of life gain. if board states stall out, you've put a clock on yourself. all they have to do is survive, you'll kill yourself for them.
towards that point, demonspine whip is a fine bit of equipment, but cheap and efficient is the order of the day.
that one costs you a ton of man to present an offense with.
Banshee's blade is a solid option. any combat damage equipped creature deals, puts counters on it. creature dies, the equipment retains counters. and equipment gives equipped +x/+x where x = counters on banshee's.
also Cardkingdom has it posted for 35 cents a copy. imagine other vendors are selling for lower.
I would also suggest Bloodhusk Ritualist, if you're going to keep a 24 land count for a slower aggro deck.
Great top deck, can rip apart an opponent's hand with just a couple of kicks. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Poor early game, but lifelink boosted critters, pumped out by the 2-4 counts, and deathtouch wolves pumped out in 2-4 counts puts up serious blockers.
midnight haunting/lingering for flying threats. Deck trades well against most creatures. Thragtusk lengthens the hell out of games though.
vraska in this deck works as a general catch all for trouble permanents. but ajani making the assassin tokens flying/double strike, and intangible virtue's making them 2/2, and sorin +1-2/+0 makes them effectively kill spells for enemy creatures. they must block this 2-4/2 double strike flier or lose instantly.
the tokens i haven't had hit yet, but they've allowed a lot of other damage getting through, because the opponent had 3 must block creatures.
Lastly Champion of Lambholdt makes it game if there is a parallel lives in play when Vraska makes her assassins. 7/7 champion makes these tokens unblockable not counting kill spells. I will probably tinker with the list more to get champ back in. as well as some protection for him. maybe just making him hexproof with ranger's guile.

she works, but doesn't put much pressure on the board. most effective use i've had is simply +1 at all times, until i need to destroy something. deck has obvious early game issues, but sorin's lifelink + the various anthem sources/boosts has been decent in catching back up. effectively means i can take out bramblecrush for all purpose permanent issues (nonland)
the tokens + anthems make for dangerous weenies, but the best way i've found is intangible virtue + ajani's -3. flying double strike 2/2's will whittle down most of the dangerous fliers, and allows for regular beatdown, as they must block Vrask'a token.
Only issue is the vulnerability to bounce.
Hex proof equipment or pro-blue via body and mind is my only suggestion. probably body and mind, as the hexproof equipment is not as threatening.
Upon consideration, making it 3 colors weakens the concept too much, U/R is already rough mana wise.
It might be worth it for the mana savings to work in a copy or two of the enchantment that makes instants and sorceries 2 colorless mana less to cast. a morbid Brimstone Volley copied might as well be a game ender for RR + creature tap.
For that matter proliferate spells + relevant planeswalkers might also be good. a R + creature tap for double proliferate + 2 cards/3 damage?
If the intent is to flicker, Venser may be quite useful here. Gather the townsfolk + champion + copies of gather the townsfolk, is good fun
Especially if you copy a creature that generates humans. Not sure there is a way, but i'll take a look.
that allows 3-5 cost creatures to be played for value, and card draw.
Let me see how that would play out for worth.
Additionally, perhaps flashback cards and discard using zombie infestation. taking a look to see.

This is my take on it. Mikaeus + swarm + carnifex = infinite sac
garruk to search for beaters, various disruption/mana accel to get up to the larger critters, and card draw.
Any sideboard?
sounds like an Esper combo instead of W/B tokens. If you'd like to explore that possibility, you are welcome to create a new thread. Posting here will not help you, as this thread is for W/B token builds, with primary cards being intangible virtue, Sorin, and Lingering Souls.
I've given it a shot against a solar flare deck, and it does pack a punch, even when artifact hate is boarded in. As it doesn't take much to destroy, but it sucks up card slots that would be counter/removal/sweepers from flare.
With pike in I've found that I have more blocks without creature losses. What i have also found is that pike should not be an item you put down turn 2-3. It needs to be played 4-5 so that it could be played/equipped, with some spells in GY, on a creature that can swing in for a chunk of life. one or two turns of that and you'll have a defining lead.
In a deck where any given creature is not super important, pike makes for repeatable larger power beaters.
An opponent that focuses on destroying tokens single target is already giving us an advantage, and this is a nice lure to draw that play. Imagine how annoying a doomed traveler is with a pike as a 5/1 first strike. they destroy it, and you are in business with a flying 5/x first strike likely vigilance.
Same effect with a sweep.
It does not help the deck be more threatening to sacrifice creatures, unless the creatures are easily created/reliable, or already about to die.
Thraben doomsayer would occupy a similar position to the Roc Egg, as a board blocker. Regrettably it lacks the resistance Roc Egg has against board wipes however.
Doomsayer's anthem effect is of no consequence, as lifelink from sorin vampires should reasonably stabilize your life loss with sorin's and intangible virtue's anthems. So its sole value is a 2/2 body that can pop a 1/1 ground token.
If you prefer a more control route, using Sorin + Bloodline keeper may be a better token route for altar's reap. Don't waste cards for token generation alone to sac to altar's. IE midnight/lingering. That way some card slots could be freed for removal or additional draw.
If you really wished to run altar's reap, Elspeth is probably one of the better selections for token creating permanents. However, that begins to reach out of aggro and firmly into control, which has been shaky this standard season.
i think a new spoiled card would be a better fit. Lingering souls costs 2W and puts 2 flying white spirits into play, then can flashback for 1B.
Additionally the new black/red vampire lord would fit reasonably well, probably replacing neonate.

These are the proposed changes I'm thinking would make your deck work more consistently.
If you are going to run such a low land count, consider dropping the card counts of cmc spells over 4. You will not cast many of them.
Playing red, and not using faithless looting is probably a mistake.

I already know that there are major flaws, but i like the feel of this deck. Lots of anthem/pseudo anthem effects, it needs more vampires to make bloodline keeper even work reliably. the warstorm surge is optional, with the anthem effects, and sources that put creatures in for free, free variable burn seemed interesting. I realize warstorm surge is terrible, can easily go to 0 or 1 copy.
Short of replies that say, scrap the idea, anyone want to suggest options?
Doomed Traveler, Hero of Bladehold, various black removal, Timely reinforcements all seem to have a spot. Red synergy is slightly trickier, which is why i went the vampire boosting route with Rakish Heir.
adaptable automaton would sort of work
Would really help if they made another vampire token creator.
