It gives the name as "驚天 // 動地"... anyone have a better idea what that means? Google Translate gives "Surprising weather // Incoming land", which is not very helpful...
Babelfish didn't help either lol. 驚天 translates to Dragon and 動地 translates to Isurugi. As mentioned the full text does translate to Earth-shaterring.
This seems a sensible approach to Planeswalker. I understand the idea to have regular protagonists, however when the Gatewatch have taken spotlight over local planeswalkers and other important characters, it gets annoying. Even if the entire team travels to the next story, they don't all need cards to represent their change in abilties based on their location.
I'd like to see both new planeswalkers on each plane, as well updated versions of old ones if they also visit that plane or when the Gatewatch returns to that plane. It would be a good mix in my opinion.
I need to restart my Planeswalker collection, had to sell my old one to pay bills
Disallow can target fetches right? So far this is looking good.
I believe so, since a mana ability is classified as an ability that adds mana to your mana pool. Putting a land into play does not fit into this category.
For those on mobile who can't read the card images, here's the card text (minus flavourtext).
Pia's Revolution 2R
Enchantment (U)
Whenever a nontoken artifact is put into your graveyard from the battlefield, return that card to your hand unless an opponent has Pia's Revolution deals 3 damage to him or her.
Battle at the Bridge XB
Sorcery (R)
Improvise (Your artifacts can help cast this spell. Each artifact you tap after you're done activiting mana abilities pays for )
Target creature gets -X/-X until end of turn. You gain X life.
Dark Imitations 2UBR
Sorcery (R)
Each opponent sacrifices a creature or planeswalker, then discards a card. You return a creature or planeswaleker from your graveyard to your hand, then draw a card.
When you cast a Bolas planeswalker spell, exile Dark Imitations from your graveyard. That planewalker enters the battlefield with an additional loyalty counter on it.
DI makes me wonder if Bolas is playing a small part in the Kaladesh storyline. It could to be Tezzeret standing in the art, maybe he is still working with Bolas in some way.
Works with cards that trigger when sacrifice an artifacts, or Clues specifically as they don't care how the Clue is sacrificed, just that a sacrifice effect put it in a graveyard. Instant speed board clearers are always handy, especially with Instant speed token creation still around.
Tamiyo had been studying the powers of the moon for some time and probably new of the Helvault, made from a chunk of it. If it's strong enough to imprison Nahiri, demons and Avacyn, the moon itself would act as a much more powerful prison.
From what I have read from these forums and the wiki, Tamiyo has a magical telescope. That is the most likely explanation as to how the glyph could be etched on. The combined magic of the Moon and the glyph would probably powerful enough to draw Emrakul to it.
Also, I am disappointed by the lack of Tamiyo is Sailor Moon jokes posted in this thread.
Seriously, a "may" clause would make this card more playable and I didn't even think about Starfield of Nyx. Might conjure up an enchantment deck around Starfield.
After seeing that G/W knight.......My feeling is that why Emukul and Brisela can not do a little simple job of Killing Sigarda, who is the most hating angle of mine at moment...
I hate that angle.....how many cards come out boosting humans at moment..........WTF
I'm sorry, but your typo here made me laugh and not take your post seriously.
I love Imprisoned in the Moon, awesome flavour and effect. More good humans are annoying to see, but it's part of the Innistrad v Emrakul war going on. I have a feeling that the power of level of Humans (at least in G/W) will die down once the next block is released.
I like, decent body for the same cost as the original card. Deathtouch is always good
