I can advise to join the Dice Factory discord where we have various forms of dice factory builds including thopter sword builds.
I have included a 2/2 split in my list that i am currently playing.
About the numbers of everflowing chalice: people tend to play 3 but i still run the full 4.
I don't know if clock of omens is really needed because Filigree Sages exist. With Cornucopia charged to 4 counters makes infinite mana as well, but it is still a creature.
Well the deck is quite good at the moment, but i guess with the banning of kci it will get more attention and will be played by more people which may result in more good tournament placements.
Well the thread is "Cards that should be reprinted to enter the Modern card pool" so I guess theoretically standard is out of question for this.
But I agree, if the card is standard safe or not is a different thing, but imo it is not that gamebreaking even in standard.
I wonder why Opposition didn't show up in the new Ravnica block. Would have fit perfectly both mechanics-and storywise to this block. And it's addition to the Modern card pool would be safe in my opinion.
So i still want to have Opposition reprinted.
Hi there guys,
so the new card Electrodominance is spoiled from the new set and I think there are some ways to break it even in Legacy.
Especially in legacy in my opinion.
You could for example play a draw 7 spell in turn 1 and this is not that hard maybe.
So let's look at some ways to make that happen. Rite of Flame+ land
then play electrodominance for X=0 and cast Wheel of Fate for free.
Include
and some Storm spells and go nuts.
Draw 7 Turn 1 in legacy.
This can heavily screw up your opponents Gameplan.
I played a monored storm deck some years ago and i think this card can work miracles for the deck. What do you guys think. Is it worth a shot?
Maybe there are even more crazy Ideas out there, so feel free to post them here.
@WizardMN
Ok sorry,I may have misinterpreted what you wrote, but I also hadn't believed that you wanted to ban something. I think we are on the same line with our opinions but just misunderstood each other.
@WizardMN
There are always people who want something gone because they dislike to play against it. But that is not a valid argument to ban any card.
@Kathal
Yeah sure meekstone has some advantages instead of bridge but the downsides compared to bridge are huge.
Vigilance negates meekstone completely and affinity for example can just tick up +1/+1 counters and make 1 swing for lethal.
Meekstone is comparable to Ensnaring bridge and bridge is better. Static orb is symmetrical but still good, but another prison card, chalice of the void might be on an even greater powerlevel because of the cmc needed to turn it on. Opposition is a 4 mana enchantment which needs a deck build around it. Mana short is theoretically a counterspell and storm killer and may function as a pseudo timewalk.
This could be a hard thing to deal with.
The only thing I ever read here is that counterspell is too strong and could be broken in UWx control or similar. That I think can be true. But besides that, what cards exactly make it impossible to include 7th edition? I would like to see some examples, i can imagine the 1 or another but i don't think it would break modern to include 7th

Edit: sorry just saw that Suture Priest already is in the list

Edit:
Even t1 play with SSG and a Ritual into Electrodominance for wheel of Fate
If you resolve it in t3 or 4 you will mostly be so far ahead that most opponents just scoop after that
