Awesome! Much appreciated, guys. Segoth, ok thanks, that clears things up a lot. And Thought Criminal, thank you for the rules link, I was wondering what it was.
So, my friend asked this very question the other day, and I told him that it could not, that it could only copy creatures on the battlefield. But the more I looked into it, but less I can find anything to actually back up this statement. Also, despite quite a bit of googling, I was unable to find any applicable ruling for this type of effect on any cards at all. I noticed that some copy effects say "copy of any creature ON THE BATTLEFIELD" such as Clone, Phyrexian Metamorph, and Quicksilver Gargantuan, while some just say copy of target creature, such as Heat Shimmer, Spitting Image, and Felhide Spiritbinder. This difference in wording made me wonder if he was right, and it really could copy creatures that were in graveyards. But if it could copy from zones other than the battlefield, what would stop it from copying a creature in a hand or library? Needless to say, I'm a bit confused about the whole ruling right now, and I'm hoping one of y'all can clear it up for me. I feel like it's probably simpler than it seems. Also, whatever the answer is, how would it work for cards that are worded as "copy of a creature you control", such as Mercurial Pretender and Twinflame? Do you control the creatures in your hand or graveyard? Thanks for the help.
So does it keep over turns as well? Like if I had a Fireball in my hand, I could just tap everything, not use it, then tap it all again next turn and kill them with a massive Fireball?
If you're still taking them, I have a request for a signature. Here is the idea:
Green Sun's Zenith in the very middle, surrounded on each side (and maybe top and bottom as well, your choice) by Vorapede, Primeval Titan, Primordial Hydra, Dungrove Elder, Vengevine, and Terra Stomper. For text, just something kind of out of the way in one of the corners that says, "It is time. Summon the beasts of the forest." Alot of the above cards have light shining down through a broken forest canopy. I really like that effect, so try to keep that in, and take it and run with it if you want. And I've really loved all your other sigs that I've seen, so of course feel free to change anything to your liking. I just wanted to give a rough idea to work off of. Thanks a ton!
I want to make a deck focused around Wild Defiance, Precursor Golem, and Artful Dodge. I have some other ideas for some pump spells, but what do y'all think would go well in the deck? And not just instants and sorceries.
I'm posting this in Rulings, because I'm wondering whether or not, according to the rules, it is possible. If it's supposed to be somewhere else, could one of the moderators please move it? Thanks. First of all, This is under perfect conditions, and understandably, would not usually happen, but it would be possible. With that said, here is situation under question:
You reveal all 4 chancellors in your hand, and get your 4 goblins. You go second. Your opponent plays no creatures on their first turn. You draw a mountain, attack with all four goblins, play a mountain, then play a Goblin Grenade, going down to 3 goblins, for a total of 9 damage. Turn 2, your opponent still has no creatures, you draw another Goblin Grenade, and hit with 3 goblins, then play your 2nd mountain and 2 Goblin Grenades for the win.
Like I say, this is a perfectly feasible first 2 turns, although not altogether likely. I just want to know if there is some detail I am missing as to why this won't work, or if it's perfectly fine. Thanks for the help!
Either Cloudshift or Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. That thing is essentially a 10/10 flying, first strike for 7 mana all by itself, not to mention that it effects everything/everyone else in the game in your favor. And although I haven't really done any EDH, but it seems like a pretty awesome Commander.
On the new spoiled card, Bonfire of the Damned, there is an XX in it's mana cost. How is that interpreted? This is also seen on the card, Gelatinous Genesis, from Rise of the Eldrazi, but it seems to work differently. Could someone explain?
4. You can even use it to just untap a creature for blocking, if you have to!
Please post if you have any other awesome ideas for this card. And if you have anything bad to say about it, go somewhere else. Just kidding, I'm interested to hear any problems you have with this card also.

Ok, here's the situation: My opponent is attacking with a Nested Ghoul, which is enchanted with a Savage Silhouette and Lure. I have six assorted critters on the battlefield. What I want to know, is, even though I have to block it with everything, do I have to deal it any damage? Because, obviously, I don't want to even give him a single 2/2, when he can just regenerate it, let alone 6. Thanks for any help.
I need a green, white, or colorless, card that will let me search my library for artifacts such as Birthing Pod and Witchbane Orb, plain artifacts. It can be any card type, but a creature would be best, if there's some kind of search ability that triggers when it enters or leaves the battlefield.

Opening hand:
4x Chancellor of the Forge
1x Mountain
2x Goblin Grenade

1. It stops people's Mind Control, Unsummon, Doom Blade, etc, by whisking away the target.
2. It gets those pesky +1/+1 counters off your undying creatures so they can come back again and again.
3. It lets you reactivate abilities of things like Pelakka Wurm, Acidic Slime, Ulvenwald Bear, Primeval Titan, etc, etc, etc. And it does it for one mana!!
4. You can even use it to just untap a creature for blocking, if you have to!
