I think the deck will be fine overall without Eye of Ugin after the shock fades.
My gut thoughts of the direction of Eye of Uginless RG Tron
There will still be viable options for tutoring late game action include the following.
Sanctum of Ugin
Conduit of Ruin
My testing is going to lean towards a more Conduit heavy version due to the appeal of the cast trigger against the coming ancestral vision control decks that will pop up.
Ulamog the Ceaseless Hunger will continue be the go to finisher over Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. Without the consistency of tutoring for Eye of Ugin and turning that into an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, I think Emrakul just gets the cut finally. Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger works more efficiently with Conduit of Ruin and still in most cases wins on the spot.
Oath of Nissa is insane! It's additional Ancient Stirrings for RG Tron and the types are everything Tron wants to find. This is easily a 4 of in the deck.
On the topic of Conduit of Ruin, it has a been a reasonable one of in my Tron list for the last 2 events. Just searching up Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger has been good enough for me.
This has a lot of potential in RG Tron in modern. Instant speed gives RG Tron a bit more interaction on the opponents turn which helps immensely with the dealing with manlands such as Inkmoth Nexus. The devoid is awesome because you can tutor with Ancient stirrings which is just awesome! The second ability is what makes me want to test more Bane of Bala Ged and more Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger to trigger it consistently. The cool part of this card is having multiple Kozilek's Return in the graveyard can be triggered off the same 7+ Eldrazi creature so you can sweep bigger things. I can see a common play being casting Kozilek's return and then casting an Eldrazi in the same turn to deal 7 which will basically kill anything in the format. Overall i'm excited to try a few copies over pyroclasm and see how it goes.
I have the following and i'll add a short reason why I have the deck built
R/G Tron - I love the thrill of dropping a turn 3 Karn Liberated. I built this as my first competitive modern deck and have played it for about a year and a half.
U/R Twin - I wanted people to play modern with so I originally built this deck just to loan out. I ended up playing it myself because the playstyle is very different from R/G Tron and its a nice change of pace.
G Stompy/Infect/Burn/Blistercoil Blitz/Merfolk/Elves - Eh I have a problem what can I say? I just enjoy building decks....
So, can we actually beat burn? Even with Swagtusk, skites, nature's claim, etc. the matchup feels so hopeless. Am I sideboarding incorrectly, or something? I just don't even feel like it is a possibility at this point. What about Chalice? That probably harms us as well but I don't know what else to do?
I stopped bringing in the Nature's Claims as the option to blow a Wurmcoil Engine or a Chromatic Star is not a reliable enough plan to gain life.I found it usually sits in my hand occasionally killing an Eidolon of the Great Revel. Feed the Clan has been much better than anticipated because gaining 5 life is enough to set them back considerably. Extra pyroclasm effects help out by killing Goblin Guide,Monastery Swiftspear, and Eidolon of the Great Revel. Maximizing Spellskite is key in this matchup and holding a Chromatic Star or Chromatic Sphere to use for the activated ability can mean the difference in games. Thragtusk is on my list of cards to test for this matchup but it seems like a good option to bring in. I hope this helps some, its not an easy matchup overall but its possible.
Before I got my Grove of the Burnwillows, I played with Karplusan Forest as a substitute and for the most part it functioned identically to Grove of the Burnwillows. However it really hurt my burn matchup considerably by having to take one damage to tap for the color I need. I would say to play Karplusan Forest for now and to eventually pick up the Groves.
If you check out mtggoldfish.com, they usually do a budget magic articles every week and usually its a week of modern and then standard. The modern decks that he has built are usually under 100$ and are decent to say the least. I have one of them in my modern gauntlet and it is fun to mess around with once in a while.
3-4 is a lot of ghost quarter maybe 1 or 2 at the most. Man lands should be too much of an issue considering you are probably playing lighting bolt which kills most of the problematic ones.

My burn sideboard plan is as follows
In
2x Spellskite + 1x maindeck
2x Feed the Clan
1x Wurmcoil Engine
1x Pyroclasm + 2x Maindeck
Out
1x Emrakul, The Aeons Torn
3x Oblivion Stone
2x Relic of Progentius

I have
RG Tron
UR Twin
Burn
UG Infect
Elves
Merfolk
Green Stompy
I just like having options and to have the ability to lend out decks to people who either don't have a deck or want to try something different.
