I live in the United States, no international trades/sales.
1. Buyer pays first, Paypal gift or Buyer pays the service fees, I have 100% trader rating this shouldn't be a problem.
2. Buyer pays shipping, I ship in top loaders and bubble mailers add $2.50.
3. All cards for sale fall into Mint or NM condition unless otherwise stated, ask for pictures if you are concerned I have no problems taking and sending pictures to you.
I Will Be adding more cards as I dig through my rares I no longer play. This is just a breakdown of my old Skithyrix EDH deck.
quick question, if you like infect so much, why are you running Korlash, Heir to Blackblade as your Commander when you could just put Skithyrix, The Blight Dragon in his place? I guess it makes the deck a bit more of a surprise when you drop the infect creatures though.
I play Skithiryx, I guess it falls into the voltron category. He is actually the only creature I run besides Graveborn Muse and she isn't gonna win me any games.
I prefer playing this way, I like control, and I like aggro, this lets me do both, although I don't play multiplayer ...
I literally cannot win the game without him or Inkmoth Nexus but my voltron approach is a little different using Unspeakable Symbol, Hatred, Lashwrithe etc ... I don't run any swords, but I guess being in the best tutoring color I don't have the tuck complaint that most people do. Also my deck is very control based since I do not need to eat up deck space with creatures, I run a large amount of removal, hand destruction, and tutor's/draw to get whatever I need.
But how is that even possible? A Malaren deck can't run Stranglehold.
he said when facing, so if someone else is playing her as a commander, and he is playing red, he still get's to search even though its not his commander
I agree, with all the instants and sorceries Runechanter's Pike seems even stronger than Inquisitor's Flail. Also, may have missed it from your list, but as you're running Death Cloud, how about Pox and Smallpox? Talk about dismantling someone's hand and board state overall!
I run Death Cloud I don't run Pox or Small Pox not that they aren't good, but I find that all though the card is needed in the deck I rarely cast Death Cloud as it is, so I don't want to run more cards with the same effect.
I'm curious why none of you have considered Runechanter's Pike? I mean at least give some reasons why to dismiss the card.
Considering the number of sorceries and instants (around 42) in this deck it should always pump Skithiryx enough to be a two turn clock at the minimum. If you've played six spells its enough pumps to be a one hit kill. The fact that it gives him first-strike is just a bonus. I think 6 sorceries and/or instants in five to six turns should be do-able for this deck.
About Night Terrors, it is good for exiling Life from the Loam from their hand. Of course you would have to catch them at moment when they have it in their hand. This means you would probably need a way to try and remove it from their graveyard and they will likely respond with a draw effect to try and save it thus forcing them to put it in their hand. As you've mentioned though you have little to no graveyard hate. So Shred Memory is a good add for tutoring or GY hate. Bojuka Bog or Nihil Spellbomb could also be a good option for GY hate.
I just straight up have not paid much attention to Innistrad since I have been busy, I didn't know that card existed, something else to play test.
I could understand that. Inquisitor's Flail = double damage, and while Trepanation Blade looks good(amazing in limited obv, though it's really a pet card of mine fair) it's just much more random; Hatred/Unspeakable Symbol are just an OTK, and the two Lash equips are insane. Though if you cut one of the Lashes, I would cut Nightmare Lash instead, Lashwrithe comes with a body, and you can even just pay B + 2 life, or BB so it's cost is much more versatile! Sometimes you don't want to pay the full 3 life on Nightmare Lash. This may not be the case all the time, but sometimes it could make a difference. I know my Skithiryx ate my life pretty hard so every little bit I could save helped a bunch.
The deck has no need for the body that comes with Lashwrithe although like you said the cost is more versatile, I have never blocked with it, it actually just usually ends up dying when I cast a Death Cloud or Oblivion Stone etc ... to clear the way for Skittles.
Why no Duress, Distress, or Mind Shatter from your discard package? and I may have overlooked it but no actual board sweepers like Damnation? Are you relying on your combo's and Olivia Voldaren for board clearing?
just curious, I am looking into building a control style build with her also, looks like you have a solid start going
Hmm...well, if maybe not the Inquisitor's Flail, Trepanation Blade still seems good enough. Admittedly Flail still makes it a 2 turn clock on it's own, while Blade can one-shot(I like it especially in mine where I have other infectors that can pick up mah trusty sword). Ultimately that looks to me like the third pump sword, the other two you have being Hatred and Unspeakable Symbol. I think three is a good number to be at.
Currently, Lashwrithe or Nightmare Lash are on the chopping block for Inquisitor's Flail, it will probably be Lashwrithe because of the equip cost being a little more, and giving me a different tutor target depending on the situation (like only having a few swamps in play).
I, for one, wouldn't play Heartless Summoning. It works only with Skithiryx, thus making it an even worse topdeck than a mana rock in the late game. Also apart from turning the General into 4 turn natural clock from 3, it also reduces the toughness to 3 (bolt range), which can actually be quite relevant in 1v1. (Deceiver Exarch in standard springs to mind).
Tribute to hunger is an easy auto-include, however I'm not sure about Victim of the Night, it needs some testing.
Heartless Summoning I tested online a bit and it kinda sucks for this deck, it makes a 3 turn clock now a 4 turn clock, being in bolt range doesn't matter, he regenerates and I always leave mana open, but also it messes with Inkmoth Nexus if they are both in play.
I would actually try to fit Victim of the Night in before Tribute to Hunger - its targeted removal, and its conditions aren't 3 creature types that are really a problem, I would just tutor for a different target over it if I needed.
Last but not least - I am thinking about trying to add a few transmute tutor's into the deck. I don't know what I am going to cut yet, but I think that adding Shred Memory, Dimir Machinations will let me transmute for a high % of cards in the deck, but they are sorcery speed, also my deck currently has no graveyard hate, so I pretty much fold to anyone running Life from the Loam.
You have the best tutoring color in the game at your disposal run more tutors, transmute cards etc ... Just run the equipment that matters (the ones that protect or make Olivia a death machine.) The Kaldra Package just seems mana intensive and clunky to me, and since Olivia pumps herself I don't think she needs all that extra stuff. Remember you can ping your own creatures at the end of each players turn and just make her huge ...
Smooth out your artifact mana accelerators ie. Coalition Relic etc ...
also Blightning, Myojin of Night's Reach? I play mainly in 1v1, so I would build the deck a lot differently for control (lots of single target discard) setup a Stax effect, control with Olivia's ping and voltron win.
I like the thought of Inquisitor's Flail and Trepanation Blade in Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon. Pump is always stupid good for infect, and Blade does it quite well. Flail is like a Furnace of Rath for the general. I also agree of the Heartless Summoning, that should go in the deck. Well, I play it in Kaalia, admittedly I'm not sure how good it is with such a small creature base like you have in here.
I like both Inquisitor's Flail and Trepanation Blade However, now we are at a point of how many are too many pump cards? so what needs to come out? all of my pump effects win me the game the turn I attack if I have one of them, where as Inquisitor's Flail does not and Trepanation Blade might or might not, We are using the best tutor color in the game, so I think I would add more tutor's before more equipment since they are more versatile.
Heartless Summoning is an easy include, I would cut a CITP mana artifact for it, but I haven't had any free time to test anything since Innistrad came out.
As far asperish the thought, yeah its not the greates and Night Terrors is better, but it just came out, I don't have one lol.
Tribute to Hunger I must have missed, I have been preoccupied, this card is awesome.
Sever the Bloodline could be worth a slot since it exiles, and the group I play with like to run Indestructible creatures.
I will make some changes and test online before I get any cards and let you know how things go.

Unspeakable Symbol

Also for control since you like the Blood Moon approach why not run a little
Braids, Cabal Minion + Bitterblossom + Contamination Stax package?
Also how are you killing Hoarding Dragon to get your artifact that he grabs? with Olivia Voldaren?
Personal I would drop:
1 Sword of Kaldra
1 Shield of Kaldra
1 Helm of Kaldra
1 Venser's Journal
1 Heart of Ramos
1 Skull of Ramos
1 Expedition Map

The reason I listed Expedition Map - What land are you looking for with it? I would rather run Worn Powerstone or Thran Dynamo and have more mana.
