I too was shorted, and some other people I know had the same thing happen.
Me and others have also said that their envelopes looked like they had been previously opened for whatever reason.
My rewards were definitely opened before i received them. What was weird was that i got 2 CC, 1 pack of 2(flame javelin and corrupt) and a pack of 10. Did anyone else get packs of ten (5 new 5 old)?
Don't the prerelease dates seem wrong? They are on the 20-21, 2 weeks away from the release date, but wizards's article here http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/20080618 says that the prereleases are 6 days before release and states that the prereleases are on the 27-28.
Sure some of these might never break 50 cents a card at your shop but they all have potential to be worth more then that.
I lol at this. The dealer at my prerelease was paying $5 cash for tattermunge maniacs first day and selling them for $12. People were intercepting potential sellers offering $10 for maniacs so they didn't have to spend %12 each. Funniest thing I've ever seen. I've got my playset though, opened 2 and traded for the other 2.
well. I've only played 15 or so games with the deck (3 against d-storm, which is really boring....), i can say that the mutavault is great against a deck slower than yours because it adds that extra creature once your hand is running low or after a sweeper/ nasty trick. Also, in my list above, it gains extra life wit rhys, which allowed me to win a stalemate against faerie rogues until they lost too much life with bitterblossom.
In other decks, it definitely helps to achieve enough of a certain type of creature, like with stenchskipper or spellstutter sprite. lastly, it's great against cryptic command, as you attempt to go to declare attackers step, if they play it and tap your creatures, you activate the land afterwards and attack anyway.
i think that in colors outside of green and blue, it should be run if color commitments allow, and in blue or green, if the deck is overly weak to board sweepers( along with village or conclave).
Auntie's Snitch can't block.
Prowl :1mana::symb:
Whenever a Goblin or Rogue you control deals combat damage to a player, if Auntie's Snitch is in your graveyard, you may return Auntie's Snitch to your hand.
3/1
If Someone attacks with Auntie's Snitch, puts damage on the stack towards a player, and then sacrifices the snitch to something and no other goblins or rogues are going to deal damage, would the ability trigger and return the snitch to your hand? Basically, does the game remember that the damage was being dealt by a goblin/rogue?
Taurean Mauler - 2R
Creature - Shapeshifter (Rare)
Changeling (This card is every creature type at all times)
Whenever an opponent plays a spell, you may put a +1/+1 counter on Taurean Mauler.
The power of a waterfall. The fury of an avalanche. The intellect of a gale-force wind.
2/2
Illus. Dominick Domingo So, can I Sudden Shock it in response? 3.5/5
umm, not that i would call it a 5/5 anyway, but doesnt the trigger resolve before sudden shock, making it atleast a 3/3?
wow, this does make kithkin alot better, smooths out a draw without a one-drop and is good champion fodder/ beater late game after a wrath. Does anyone think that this will be an auto four-off in block decks with 2 or less colors?
Also, do you think that this makes blind-spot giant any better? (For block most likely)
P.S. - Thanks Hydro, your awesome!
Edit: also, if this is played with factory in legacy or vintage, factory pumps this up
UB Dual

As UB Dual comes into play, choose island or swamp. It gains that land type in addition to its other land types.
