My favourite card: Grand Abolisher
When I started first playing magic I was playing the WB M11 intro deck. I was having a blast with it, however I began to remove more and more of the black, until it became mono white. I had named it 'Control the Battlefield', and it was a blast. Though I remember the day that I cracked the Abolisher and was able to put it into my deck. It was glorious. I only had the one. However it would stymie my friends' plans and help me hold the fort down till I could start swinging in with my finishers.
The card really help drive my interest for magic. I will always have fond memories of playing it.

What are peoples thoughts on removing Wilt-Leaf from the list? What else could we replace it with? My friend who came up with this is mostly a control/combo player (Grixis Twin, Scapeshift, Mono-U Taking Turns). Honestly I'd like to see Wilt-Leaf back in there, but I'm kind of curious to see how this pans out. Thoughts?

I'm currently quite happy with the list as it stands. I'm very happy with the inclusion of Sunlance as an additional piece of removal. Not sure if I would try to switch out Sunlance for Dismember since I'm already losing quite a bit of life to my mana base.
Currently toying around with Celestial Purge in the SB to deal with Keranos coming in from some UR sideboards. Also it does help against threats such as Blood Moon, and Liliana.
I recently picked up Mark of Asylum and pulled out Ethersworn Canonist for it. I'm not sure how I feel about 3 Marks in the board. I feel I should drop it down to 2. I had the Canonists in the board for the Jeskai combo deck, however no one in my group plays it (for now). And I face more UR Delver and Twin, so I feel as a meta (albeit a small one) call, Mark makes the grade.
Otherwise I feel the list is fairly stock, and it's been playing well. I need to pick up a playset of Qasali Pridemage and see if it can take over Sc.Ooze's spot.
You're playing 4x (or 3x) Norin the Wary because he a critical part of each combo you're playing.
Soul Sisters + Norin = Gain life every turn
Champion + Norin = Champion gets larger, brings bigger beats
Norin + Purphoros = Damage every turn.
Norin + Genesis Chamber = Tokens, Tokens, Tokens
You want to see Norin all the time. Your deck isn't a Norin deck because you're not relying on Norin to enable combos. It's just a deck that features Norin.
Teeg refers to the spells cost, not the card cost.
Fuse says cast two spells at once.
So while the cmc of Turn // Burn is greater than 4, you're casting two spells both with cmc under 4.
Make sense?

I would run more Apostle's Blessing and Vines of Vastwood to combat removal. My meta happens to feature a few control players, so having that uncounterable pump can win the game.
The problem with UW Flash is the number of counterspells, and bounce they have. I'm pretty loss on this one.
Though I'm thinking some form of removal, Abrupt Decay or Putrefy, is better in the Rootborn Defenses slot. Removing my opponents threats was key to many wins. Slip works, but having it in Game 1 can make a big difference. In my meta there is lots of Aggro, so I'll probably be going with Abrupt Decay for speed. Putrefy in the SB for 4cmc and up.
I dumped one Intangible Virtue from the deck for a Collective Blessing. Hitting late game with Spirit Tokens on board, made a huge difference. Also removed Vault of the Archangel for a second Gavony Township. Through the several matches, there was only once when I wanted it. I'm going to get gready and put Vault in with the two Gavonys. See how that goes.
Looking at more testing over the weekend and with the group on Tuesday.
