Her +1 is very good actually. Hitting land drops in the card pool of flashback spells is very relevant.
In fact you realistically can cast Griselbrand on curve in deck with Liliana.
I would rather play something which helps me live to that turn.

Your logic is to run suboptimal cards so that there is slightly more synergy when you draw the optimal hand in a goldfishing situation. If you don't have Champion, Call is now severely worse than something which makes flying tokens. If you don't have the turn 1 pilgrim, something which costs 4 has the definite potential to become a casting issue.
This is not a "dies to removal" argument. This is a "dies if your opponent has a heartbeat" argument.

Building a deck around the optimal hand played against an opponent doing nothing just makes a bad deck.
Yeah agree aggro need's low curves but when your most "expensive" spell is 4cmc (vamp/lilly) I can't see any problem with her in a vamp deck. Despite the fact to "consume" other creatuer's with the -3 effect (dedicated with swamps don't miss it). And last ability is a ton of mana for? I can see printed a similar card like Consume Spirit.
4CMC is also playable in aggro just saying... everything fit's really well and you as me don't know what kind of support she'll get in next block.

See: Vampire Nocturnus or Hero of Bladehold. Those cards bring in a potentially insane amount of damage and thus warrant their high cost. Liliana is not the kind of card an aggro deck wants, despite the minor "synergy".

While having Vampire Nocturnus reprinted, she's the next tool to shuffle your library if you don't have a black card on top while squeezing the land's out to draw spells. Llike the shuffle effect we've had during zendikar with fetch lands. She's completely fine! Not kickass like of the veil but good/usefull.
Watch out for returning Vampire T2 Decks when Mirrodin rotates and the RTR block add's more nice tool's.

The thing about Captain's Call that will inevitably put it in the "unplayed" category is that we already have a ton of great token producers. Between Gather the Townsfolk, Midnight Haunting, and Lingering Souls, tell me again why I want a 4cmc sorcery?
Welcome to the world of Chandra fans. Every time they've had a good idea on where to go with her but punted it straight away. Just a bit less mana. Just one more damage on an ability. A slightly more aggressive loyalty cost on an ability. A little bit more starting loyalty. But nope, never quite there. But hey, on the bright side, this card is still better than even the best Chandra card so far. It's almost Chandra-bad, but not quite.
Chandra also has the worst novel by far... something going on up at Wizards
Horizons isn't particularly risky either provided you aren't a moron and exile every land in your deck. Exile six, they blow it up and you have a 10% lower chance of drawing lands the rest of the game, a small and possibly positive effect. They don't blow it up, and you're probably going to be good on lands by the time it's done.
Of course this is beside my point that Endless Horizons was an awful card, and a slightly better/worse version of that is still an awful card.

Liliana ensures that you have a higher chance of drawing non-land cards while still hitting your land drops. Being able to never miss a land drop ever again is huge, seriously. This card is a control's dream.
Liliana 2.0 had amazing art. I hate the newest one's. Her hair looks horrid and she feels plastic. Lili 2.0 looked like evil incarnated in a sexy body.
