I am looking at the set and I think it could be interesting to draft it. Otherwise I am not seeing many good things from this set. I am really hoping Theros will be more impressive.
And this is why I deal with limited more than anything else. I now just tend to play for the laughs and not care how good my draft/sealed decks are as long as they make things interesting or annoying to my opponents
To me, the set is not complicated to understand, it's just a test of how adaptive you are between packs.
For me, I tend to aim for at least 1 guild from GTC and 1 from RTR with at least one color that combines well with the 2. If I end up getting something crazy, then I might change my ideas around for it.
Lately I have been using the guild token cards from the DGM pre-release and select one of those at random to choose what I want to draft. Only rule I have for it is that if I open a money card/bomb in the beginning, I disregard the rule and draft whatever I want.
For me, I kind of like signed cards more often then I enjoy foils.
I was recently working at the SCG Somerset NJ open in the sales floor. Whenever I found cards signed by artists, I would ask the buyer if they wanted a signed version or non signed. They almost always picked up a signed version whenever I asked them that.
To me, it feels you get more of a cooler kind of feeling having awesome signed cards in your deck. If it's the artist or a pro player that really showed dominance with that card, it makes the card more awesome.
KMC sleeves do a great job. Using the perfect fit sleeves and then sliding that in a KMC sleeve is perfect for storing your EDH decks and foils in great condition.
There's this one guy who rides his motor cycle into the store and contines to sit on it, Revving the engine during games. His deck is sleeved up in animal skins so it takes him an hour to properly shuffle.
Then There's this other guy who wears a blue tooth head set and is constantly on it selling/buying stocks, ordering hookers, talking to his coke dealer, and yelling at his inept assistants. It's really distracting.
Oh, and then there's the deaf/blind/mute shop employee who never does anything about It. Like the one time we tried to complain about the biker using his flame thrower as a drake token. Nothing! We of course all had to scoop when he broke his whiskey bottle and the flame thrower exploded. Game ruined!
I am sure you have that one, two or more players at your LGS that does something that just plain angers you or wants to make you flip a table at them.
Lately at my LGS, there has been a player that has ended up getting on the nerves of about every other player by his constant ways to annoy you.
Things he has done include
making noise near you as you play (done to me frequently)
running/sprinting through the store (constantly done)
getting in all conversations (done every time)
interfering in any game he is nearby
keep saying he will win all the time while not taking any help/critisizm of fellow players
call you a cheater if you top deck, or play a crazy card on him constantly
command you to play him and ignore everyone else while he is eating dinner (done to friends recently)
aggravate you into a draw (done to me recently)
I am sure there are other examples of things he has done, but I rather not get into more since I might end up flipping a table just thinking about it.
Does anyone experience players like that as well? If so, feel free to talk about that here and what you have done with that player.
The week of release will be more fun since I can do a draft on that Friday and a 2HG on that Saturday. Will be much more enjoyable
If you are able to find boxes of sets like inistrad, RTR, and other valuable sets, then buy those, otherwise, just get the singles.

I would so love to believe these are real

Good chance after rotation, it will so a lot more play
