If you're having a problem with comboed Emrakuls, you could try 2-3 copies of Blind Obedience in the side. The extort adds up fast, pumps your Pridemates, and gives you a win-con besides attacking if something locks you out of combat.
Blind Obedience Doesn't protect you from Emrakul, if they cast him with tron they get another turn, or they can Gory's Vengeance/Through The Breach on your end step and not have to resolve the exile trigger until the end of their next turn. Kiki-Twin can get around it the same way.
Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant doesn't see play because a lot of removal in modern isn't damage based (Path and it's lesser clones, Lilliana of the Veil, Darnation/Wrath, pox), but it makes a great sideboard against aggro/weenie decks, or decks who side pyroclasm against you.
I'm going to start using it as a one-of too see how I like it.
Is anyone going to run Flagstones of Trokair with the new legend rules? The drawback of the old rule was that the second one essentially came into play tapped, and that is not the case anymore. Still combos with Ghost Quarter, still beats Pox... but somehow the magic is gone
