Dark Confidant and Tarmogoyf are both solidly Mythic in my eyes.

Would you consider Snapcaster Mage also of mythic quality then? Cuz I would put him on equal footing as those two.

JUND EXISTED IN THE OLD EXTENDED WITH FAE AND THOPTER-DEPTHS? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

    http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/ptaus09/tedecks

LOOK at those decklists, Bloodbraid appears ONCE in the entire top decks, and as a 2-OF in a ZOO deck.

    ------------------

EDIT: Look at this ENTIRE San-Juan PTQ SEASON, you know, the one RIGHT after that Pro Tour. How many Bloodbraid Elves do you see?

    http://archive.wizards.com/magic/magazine/events.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/sanjuan10ptq/welcome

Hint; it's a lot less than you think, and when it does show up, it's in Zoo and Scapeshift decks LOL!
    ------------------

Then, we had the WORLD CHAMPS when Extended was only 4 sets, BBE only showed it's face a total of FOUR times.

    http://archive.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/worlds10/decks/extended

This quote from Bocephus is full of bull*****. There is no evidence to your claim whatsoever. Bloodbraid Elf was wrongfully banned along with Wild Nacatl, and if my links aren't evidence enough I don't know how else to express this.

It's beyond obvious to see, that Bloodbraid Elf was not banned based on power level, Wizards even said that themselves, Bloodbraid Elf was banned because they wanted to "nerf" a deck, and it's a ******* horrible philosophy because look at the *****-pile we are stuck in now. People want Bloodbraid Elf, Dig Through Time, Ancestral Vision and Sword of the Meek unbanned. These cards do jack ***** compared to the list I just previously typed up.

BGx will not increase in meta percentages, the logic doesn't coincide with your opinion, and that doesn't make the logic incorrect, it makes your opinion incorrect.

I forgot how much people like you let the pro meta guide you and make decisions for you.

Keep gearing the game toward the pros and we have Extended all over again, a failed format. Dont understand why that is so hard to understand.

I also find it amusing you can only attack one statement and disregard the rest.

I find it amusing, you are mocking ACTUAL PRO TOUR AND PRO TOUR QUALIFIER RESULTS.

Are you saying you are BETTER than everyone else who competed in that Era?

Not saying that at all. I am saying there is more to the Modern format then pro results. It was the same for a bit with Extended. The format took a nose dive when Wotc started gearing the game toward the small player base at the top and the regular Joes playing at the LGS, local TO level, were pushed out of the format.

Gear Modern toward the pro game, and we have Extended all over. A failure of a format.

We most certainly don't want that. If WOTC starts listening to pros and banning things like fetchlands and manamorphose this format is toast.

Don't they already sort of listen to pros thou, stating that they ban cards due to keeping the pro tour healthy and that was one of the reasons for the last bans?

I got MTGO recently, didn't have the money to buy the 4 Karn and 1 Emrakul, 1 more Grove, and finish the sideboard, so it isn't complete, but I've been happy winning the majority of my games Smile

    Gr Tron

Current MTGO Record with Tron, haven't changed it since putting it together, Tournament Practice Room:
    31 2-0-0
    25 2-1-0
    13 0-2-0
    11 1-2-0
    2 1-1-0

    Total Win Percentage: 68.29%

Phyrexia's Core+Spine of Ish Sah is surprisingly good, just tutor/cantrip for Phyrexia's Core if you see Spine of Ish Sah, use it as just a vindicate otherwise, very helpful verses manlands which I frequently seem to have to destroy.

Ugin is nuts if it resolves, does the job of All is Dust/Oblivion Stone, while also being a wincon. Aggro and Midrange fold to him, his ultimate beats Control if they can't stop him.

sideboards short 5 cards. Also how is zero karn main? I feel like I'd miss him.

Anyone see this list posted in another thread?

    http://www.happymtg.com/decks/view/D078115

I find it interesting. I changed it myself - 1 urgborg, - 1 painter -1 chromatic star, + 1 forest + 2 Karn. My sideboard also is a bit different. Only tested it for about an hour, but its actually interesting. Had tron lands surgically extracted and didn't really care since I had the breach combo in hand at the time with a guide. The baubles help get the one red if you dont have a guide or dual land which is nice. Something to try out at least.

Has anyone tested tormenting voice over nights whisper? I may try that to help have some more self discard since I have found myself searching for faithless sometimes. I also use fury so upping the red card count helps and then I could cut down on the black sources.

I guess you could say that pimpin' ain't easy.

+1 well played sir. I also figure if they put the time into pimping it out, it must be a deck they use often, so should know how to play it well and be a threat.

Using Leaks over Deprive. Sideboard is heavy anti affinity, and there wasn't a lot of affinity that made day 2. Main decks great, but I'd down on the EE, shatter, or vandals. 7 slots for that is pretty huge.

Would you mind giving us a breakdown of your matches when you get a change? Also, how was Mana Leak and Remand in the main? Congrats on 21st place finish and Thanks!

Lol wasn't me playing in that, just posting so everyone can see and my thoughts on their sideboard haha. Wish that was me!

I tend to attack most people evenly, but if one player starts interfering with my plans or seems like they are just targeting me, I will destroy them and only them. If someone else looks like they will win, I don't care, I just stop the person that targeted me whether I win or lose. It sometimes annoys them which is great because it generally stops them from solely targeting me in the future and i get to do my own thing from then on.

    what you rather it be?

I think its because it says steam instead of stream.

I tried out Max's manabase and I missed Blood Crypt 3 times last night. It's back in for me. My manabase is this and it's been working great:

I've always liked Sulfur Falls and always felt like you never needed more than 1 Black manasource in play at a time and ended up dropping Darkslick Shores.

I also felt the need of having a crypt and did the same thing as you. I also run a drowned catacombs instead of a sulfur falls. (needed more black due to running three Iok main)

Yeah thats exactly how I figured it worked, that you needed the grisel for the draws, which means it takes more mana to win then just a straight fury win. Essentially more cards too for the combo, just don't need to win via combat phase. Its definitely more complicated than the fury version, but at least a path doesn't blow you out. I'm going to test it with fury included and see how that goes.

edit: tested 2 game so far, won both. Using shoal to dig with a grisel out and swinging again with fury is awesome. Much easier than previous fury versions. I was able to do the splice into borbor play one turn, did it just cuz I could, but I could also just have kept swinginng with griselbrand. So far liking it, will keep testing.

Also had a game where I won t2 through a remand. had 2 goryos in hand, and 2 ssg. had pitched grisel turn 1. turn 2 saw he had 2 mana up, had a crypt in played. fetched for a overgrown, putting me at 14. exiled an ssg and tapped a land to play goryo, he remaned. I exiled other ssg and tapped other land. Even if it was a hard counter I still had the second goryo. Then went off with fury and shoal package.

Im a bit confused by the going off at instant speed with borbor. Don't you first need a grisel in play to draw enough cards to use borbor for flinging lands? The Fury version you can still goryo/breach on the opponents EOT and win as well. To not win through the combat step, you'd have to use the grisel draw to get enough lands to fling, correct?
