In regards to scassedens list I think unless the deck really needs the filtering you could sub in thermo alchemist for the tormenting voice as lightning axe and bedlam reveler mainboard as madness enablers. Would probably hurt consistency some in favor of raw power as you can't filter through lands though.

Take inventory is another choice off the same list. I think in the matchups where fevered visions can come in it won't be missed and in the matchups where you don't want visions you probably don't want to be playing sorcery speed draw(particularly draw spells that only scale the longer the game goes)

Dynavolt converts spells into damage at about the pace of 1 thermo alchemist(1.2 damage per spell cast vs 1). In an aggro heavy meta it can't block though so it loses some points there as well as probably not being as good in multiples as alchemist. Still worth testing and I think if you have fevered visions in the side because of aggro 2 dynavolt should be in the main so you can at least hit one and generate advantage that way.

I really like how well Herald of Kozilek will play with either artifacts.deck or eldrazi.deck

Been playing on steam for awhile now, having plenty of fun, other than the random glitch. For someone who doesn't have the time or funds to play magic in person anymore, this fills my wants to play limited fix.

    Few comments/questions/observations.

Liliana is really strong in this format, because she's so easy to trigger, has 3 toughness to avoid most common burn, and has lifelink if she needs to block. Once you flip her +2 takes over and then the -8 finishes it.

Do we have a date for the new Zendikar expansion? I know we don't have any details on if the origins stuff will rotate out or what, but I'm interested to see how they implement new sets.

Also had a couple of times where I've flat out had the game freeze on me during an opponents priority(no orange counter, stop time counter completely full since I don't have priority). Really frustrating considering both were later in the game and both were close.

Other minor complaints: slightly more time to respond in general, sometimes clicking the timer to stop delays a bit, and sometimes you need a moment to mentally process whats happening and by the time it does it can be too late to respond.

Its also a bit easy to mistarget or misplay cards just because of how selecting things goes, but I don't really have any idea to offer solutions on that front.

Overall, fun little game and while it doesn't entirely feel like magic, for someone who still loves the game and wants to play, its a great product.

Looks like they're getting the intro rares out of the way early.

This. I would hope this isn't indicative of the power level of the set in general.

I don't know the state of standard right now but if burn or mono-red aggro is a thing then this guy will see play. Perfect curve topper for a red deck that just wants to dump its hand on the field and overwhelm the opponent. Especially in a burn orientated build. Play it as one of the last cards in your hand, get a 4/4 flyer for 4, and allows you an extra draw every turn its alive to get that last spell you may need to finish the game.

These decks are certainly value town and I would be happy to buy any of them if I were still playing. However, I do wish each deck had a third commander like they have in the past, but overall a very minor issue with an otherwise spectacular product.

The thing that makes this card much better than Index is that you aren't stuck with the bad cards in the top 5 since you can just pitch them to the graveyard. Also in limited with all the creatures and combat tricks you play 3-4 delve cards in your deck go a long way. Become Immense did wonders as a +6/+6 for G multiple times lategame.

alabaster kirin does work. I picked abzan as my pool and got a bunch of mardu rares, and surrak, but none of my red or black was any good so I ended up with a weird bant deck that worked well enough to go 3-1.

Gee, I wonder what I would play with a pool that starts like this http://puu.sh/by46Z/8f71db6176.jpg

Still, thanks for the tool, works great.

With Surrak confirmed that lends a tiny bit more credibility to this card, so I'll keep the faith until someone can prove where exactly the art comes from.

I am going to get a playset of Savage Punch. I don't care how weak or strong it is. All I give a damn about is that it shows a man punching a bear.

    Stephen Colbert would be proud.

Oh, right, there were other spoilers too. Yeah, I like the red enchantment the most since I'm scarfing up all the token generators for RW I can get.

why stop at a playset instead of a foil playset. as a common that probably won't see much constructed play should be able to pick up a foil playset for 2-4 bucks
