I really think people need to use Adblock here. Don't come here and say: "b-b-b-but your revenue!". Sorry, but almost every week there's a topic about malwares and ads.
So guys, use Adblock plus. It is getting ridiculous.
1) not actually in Greco-Roman mythology
2) probably very heavily copyrighted
so probably not.
Wrong.
In Greek mythology, Kratos or Cratus (Ancient Greek: Κράτος, English translation: "power") is the son of Pallas and Styx and the personification of strength and power.[1][2] Kratos and his siblings—Nike ("victory"), Bia ("Violence"), and Zelus ("zeal")—are the winged enforcers (sky tides) of the Olympian God Zeus. He makes an appearance in Aeschylus's Prometheus Bound, in which he is one of the trio that binds the titular Titan, the other two being Hephaestus and Bia.[3]
That Poem topic was really funny. I had good laughs seeing how some people got mad and some people crawled for spoilers. And this topic is funny too - if Poem is a attention seeker, she/he was truly sucessful.
Actually, what happened was:
Poem post Sorin vs Tibalt deck, all correct, with just a little error - 4x vexing demons instead of 1. (hey, do you see the numpad? "4" is right above "1"!)
Everyones gets mad, calling she/he a liar, worse than crap, blah blah blah.
She/he posts a photo of Modern Masters, says that she/he deserve a apology for the Sorin vs. Tibalt drama, then disappears.
Everyone got mad again.
Well, I have no sides, never had. But sometimes I wonder about the mental health of some users here.
Greek and Roman mythology is pretty popular to begin with:
God of War trilogy. It told you of what gods there were and added famous non-deities or demigods to the mix as well.
Clash of the Titans and Wrath of the Titans movies. Hades, Zeus, The Kraken, etc. Both were summer action popcorn stories on the silver screen.
Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, and Aquaman. Where do you think these three came from? WW is Amazonian, Amazons were in Greek mythos. Captain Marvel when he shouts the word Shazam the Z is for Zeus. Aquaman = Poseidon.
Percy Jackson & the Olympians. Need I say more?
Hercules the Animated Movie and Television Series owned by Disney?
The Odyssey live action Mini Series.
I'm probably missing several references and inspired stories from The Greek Mythology area. Point being that here in American Culture, where I'm from, its very heavily saturated within the past two decades involving stories that came from the Greeks. The only people who wouldn't know of Greek Mythology are those who have:
A) Not heard of it.
B) Don't care about it.
If one were to suggest that sure the heroes and demigods and gods themselves are popular but what about some characters that may not be as popular?
MTG has used plenty a reference that came from Greeks. The Minotaur, the Satyr, The Maze, The Lethe Lake (planechase), Harpies, Cyclops, Titans, etc.
In my country, the greek mythos is extremely popular within my age range (24 years old) because of an anime called "Saint Seiya", that is based in the Greek mythology. All the kids back them watched it, and some of them (including me) are still fans. To say the truth, it is still one of the most popular animes here.
Anyways... If my parents was unemployed, I'd save the money for an emergency. But that's just me. Is always good to have some extra sleeves. Playmats are really cool, but not that useful.

If a had a job, I was going to not ask for any gift ...
Actually my sister asked me if I wanted something for christmas, I asked for a pc headset (just 15 bucks).
When I get a job I hope I can buy gifts for all my family without the help of my mother...
