I would suggest taking the Maginon´s way out on Kardia and letting people have their first, filler, do nothing clothing item. It might be a small detail but some people are not exactly ´adventurers´, some might want something more linked to their backstory or more flavorful, or some just don´t need clothes (There´s the Wall).
Regardless, this becomes irrelevant once they buy their first item, so i´m not sure why advocate for it
Also, i don´t know how troublesome would it be, but a small compendium of the races of Maginon would be useful, since the chances of someone making someone else´s race by coincidence is extremely slim. I might be able to get one up and running in an Excel sheet with some free time but i´ll see about it.

I kinda have this enormous, degenerate, abnormal liking of Pelakka Wurm for some reason. When i used it and ramp into it, the 7 life just breaks tempo and its reassuring you get to know you get a card from your efforts when it dies
The fact that this is when it -leaves- the battlefield, however, opens up for a new level of shenanigans. I would preorder 6 of these: 4 for deck, 1 for EDH, and 1 to build a sanctuary and adore it for as long as i play shenanigan decks
