hell, I've TAUGHT the gun safety course, and it is in the materials that they are not weapons, and it instructs you to not only refer to them as firearms or tools, but to correct anyone who DID refer to them as weapons! Sometimes, we didn't even call them guns! So, I'm gonna call shenanigans. where, exactly, did you get your firearms safety training at?

The ONLY time I can picture them referring to it as a weapon would be military training, and even then, I'm not even 75% sure on that.

If they did call them weapons, and it wasn't a military training session, then they instructed you wrong. flat out.

that is not analogous to the situation at hand. Guns are used in more capacities outside of practice than shooting someone. For instance, Olympic Skeet Shooting, or Trick Shooting, or any number of competitions that do not involve hurting anyone. Are you saying that these people, who have never intentionally fired their gun at a living being and never intend to shoot at a living being, are just practicing to kill a person?

A better analogy would be: I can use this car to intentionally kill someone, therefore this car is a lethal weapon.

And even then, if you were to go to an elementary gun safety course, you would find that they rarely (if ever) refer to them as guns. they are firearms. And they are tools, not weapons.

I agree, that would solve most of the problems.

The problem I don't see it solving is one of patience/endurance. The players in the tournament still have been playing for 8-9 hours, and are drained in most cases. I don't see them viewing the removal of timed swiss rounds as a good thing, because they honestly probably just want to go home with their prizes. By making them wait, even though they are not in contention for T8, you're really not ingratiating your store to them.

so, am I the only one who sees the value in a 3/2 hexproof first striker that lets you cast up to 4 noncreature spells for free when it attacks?

    Also: REALLY FRICKIN HUGE BEARS!

    199. as a caveat to the above, I must admit that, though strictly worse, Storm Crow is the better card.

    200. No longer allowed to use Un-Cards (specifically, [card]Ass Whuppin'[/card)] in casual games on nights with official tournaments. Especially when the RA is judging alone.

well, no. I'm pretty sure that had the British given the colonies some say in how they payed (and direct representation in the parliament), then there would have been no problem. Half the problem the colonies had with Britain was that they felt like second class citizens.

There is a reason that "taxation without representation" was something of a rallying cry, as well as "give me liberty or give me death". The Colonies honestly felt that they were being mistreated. And honestly, they kinda were.

And then the actions of the British honestly just got worse.

And on the subject of said wars waged in America's defense... who instigated those wars, again (or, should I say, that war)? who had little to no say in what was going on in the country they were supposedly defending? And what happened once the war was over? What honestly would have changed in the colonies had the French taken over? Honestly, the Americas probably would have revolted sooner, because now there's no loyalty to the home country getting in the way. And, as the British saw, it is not strategically or tactically feasible to attempt to quell an uprising that big.

well, Lightning is generated when you essentially split your positive and negative energy and let it clash against itself again, using the resulting energy to generate the lightning. Incredibly difficult to produce and control. so, yeah, it's not exactly a tazer effect.

Although, note that in S1 of LoK, Amon was able to survive a blast from Mako.

huh... more story lines, more worlds... more stuff in general. new themes, and they can take a few more risks with them, too, because each individual set is smaller now.

    I like it.
