While I agree that shadow and tom would both be good people to send there, sending someone we haven't sent before is my preference.
Hence, I'd like to see Rhand getting sent there, for not being sent there before AND being one of our strongest players.
(And since they don't know you, they probably won't lynched you D1 just for the fun of it. Wink )

DISCLAIMER: All the characters in this flavour are fictitious representations of people at MTGS, not meant to insult any of the people involved.

It was a dark and stormy night in the suburbs of London. The rain had not ceased in several days and the wind kept on howling. In the darkness of the streets, a mysterious, dark figure made it's way towards a plain-looking brown wooden door at the end of the long street. Trying to avoid getting too wet, the figure ran towards the door, trying to take cover at every possible chance. After reaching the door, the figure pulled out an old-looking small key and with a swift movement pushed the key into the lock, bringing about a small "click" and soon after disappearing into the depths of the house.

The figure moved up the stairs at a remarkable speed and nary a sound. Soon, the figure reached another door and just like the first one, opened this one too without a hassle. The figure proceeded inside, closing the door behind them silently. After closing the door, the figure swithced on the light with a careful motion.

"Man, why does it always have to rain here?" sighed Ecophagy.

Ecophagy took of all his clothes heavy from the rain and proceeded towards kitchen. Surely, a cup of tea would brighten his mood after this horrendous day. Taking out his kettle and filling it with water, Eco turned on his gas stove and started heating the water. Since it'd take a while before the water would start boiling, Eco pulled out his trusty phone and opened the internet, wandering what has transpired during the time he had been away from MTGS. He still recalled the fight he had had few days ago with Iso and Azrael, about the whole Mafia subforum. Ecophagy had wished Zionite had been there for him, but no avail.

After seeing no new messages at MTGS and hearing the whistling of his kettle, Eco turned off the gas and pulled out a pristine porcelain tea cup and poured some hot and steaming water in it, only followed by a bag of good ol' Earl Grey. This if anything was guaranteed to take away his stress and would allow him to relax. Taking a sip from the tea, Ecophage felt how to hot and steaming goodness poured into his mouth, followed by euphoric feeling and the screams of joy from his taste buds.

Taking another sip from this tea, Ecophagy steeled himself to not give in and to bring Iso and Azrael to their senses. "I can do this!" Ecophagy thought to himself and placed the tea cup on his kitchen counter. Almost immediately after Ecophagy had let go of the tea cup, he felt all strength escaping from his legs and his vision going blurry, causing him to collapse on the floor.

"What's happening to me? Why do I suddenly feel this feeble?" thought Ecophagy out loud. To his surpise, a voice from the shadows answered him:

"Since you tea was poisoned. That's what you get for disagreeing with me and Iso" said a voice way too familiar to Ecophagy.

    "Azrael...?"

"Not only him, but me too" said another voice, that Eco recognized as Iso's voice.

"Since you are not recognizing the greatness of out plan, we decided to vote you out. But, do not worry. We have brought in someone who shares out ideals..."

"Indeed." said a third voice. This one was less familiar to Ecophagy, but luckily for him, he was soon told the identity of this third person.

"We have decided to bring in Sir Chris, as he's a talented mafia player, who won't get caught as mafia in less than 100 posts of a game, unlike certain someone" spoke Azreal.

"You... can't... do... this" said Ecophagy, who realised he was growing weaker every second.

"I think we've already done so", said Iso and continued: "I'd love to chat for longer, but I'm afraid we have work to do and I doubt you have long to live neither"

"No. This can't..." muttered Ecophagy, who then realised that the voice was no longer coming out of his mouth.
"Someone stop them. Anyone, please" though Ecophagy and then added: "And avenge me too, while you are at it..."

At the next day, a public announcement was found at MTGS Mafia subforum: "Ecophagy has resigned from his position at Mafia Council and Sir Chris has replaced him".

Contrary to the expectations of Azrael and Iso, who had not expected people to react to this by anyway, regular users of MTGS were shocked by these news. How could Ecophagy abandon us, leaving us with Azreal and Iso? ... and if Ecophagy is gone, maybe this would be a great chance to usurp the Mafia Council...?

Many different thought were in people's heads, but one thing was common: It was the for a revolution!

Welcome to the Revolution Mafia. This is a Mini game designed for 12 players.
This game contains no game-altering rules, neutrals or bastardness.
This game will contain tons of flavour, aggressive deadline and the return of "burnout" mechanic. (Burnout-abilities are abilities that can only be used once and will take away all your other abilities when used)

Welcome to the game, Prophylaxis! Your role is the following:

    Ecophagy (Town)

"Town did not deserve this guy."

You are everyone's favourite British Mafia Council guy! Mafia Council can't properly function without your rationality and down-to-earthness. MTGS Mafia subforum will mourn your passing and (hopefully) will vow to avenge you.

    You have the following abilities:

Two votes to lynch (passive): If at any point you have exactly two votes on you, you'll die regardless of anything.
Secret Tea Stash (burnout, day): At any point in game, you may PM the mod that you'd like to activate this ability. Mod will make you and every other person in spectator chat a cup of tea.

You win when your death has been avenged.

posted a message on [[Competitive]] Mishra - Stax Prodigy
    Mishra, Artificer Prodigy... of Stax

Basis of the Deck: Ever run across Mishra and thought "that card seems cool but sadly it is unplayble in EDH"? Wrong! Even if it seems unplayble at the first glance, when you take a closer look you might be able to notice the combo. That's right, (for those of you who already don't know), Mishra comboes with Nether Void, Possibility Storm and the ilk.

How you might ask? Simple! Whenever you cast an artifact spell with Mishra and Nether Void out, the both trigger and you get to decide the order. Now, if you stack them with Mishra on bottom and Nether Void on top, you can let Nether Void counter your artifact, and then Mishra's ability searches your hand, library and graveyard for cards with same name and abracadabra! There is one! It's almost like magic! (No Pun intended.)

Deck Plan: For starters, this deck is mainly stax with a tinge of combo in it. Those of you who don't know what stax is, check out Phil's Stax Primer made of 100% awesomeness: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=477828&

In short, this deck plays things that make casting spells really difficult, but taking advantage of Mishra's unique ability with Nether Void, leaves me able to still do something. This is achieved by mana denial and getting rid of all those pesky creatures.

Combos and synergies: Like you might have already noticed, Mishra himself also provides some combo-potential and his artifact-heavy strategy also fits for few other combo-plans.

Firstly, Mishra + Nether Void: If you put the triggers Nether Void > Mishra, first NV counters your artifact, then Mishra returns it to battlefield. Easy as that.

Also, another important one is Mishra + Possibility Storm: You cast an artifact, Possibility Storm puts it on bottom of your library, lets ou cast another artifact instead, then Mishra searches you library for the first artifact and puts it on the battlefield. Also, this combo works nicely with Nether Void, since when you cast your second artifact off Possilibty Storm, you first let Nether Void counter that spell and then Mishra searches for ti too, and finds one in your graveyard. (And also as a side effect, most of your opponents are perplexed after witnessing this one.)

Goblin Welder (+ Myr Turbine): This card single-handedly beats many other cards in the deck. It gets rid of useless artifacts AND returns more useful artifacts to battlefield. Trade unneeded Signet to Smokestacks? Sure can do! Also, Myr Turbine will be there to poop out artifact tokens for Welder to trade for more useful things...

Smokestack + Myr Turbine/Trading Post/Kher Keep: Suddenly your opponents are forced to sacrifice permanents while all you keep on feeding tokens to smokestacks. Also, if you have crucible out you can feed a land to it too.

Clock of Omens + Static Orb/Storage Matrix: Not a combo per se, but lets you sidestep the nasty effects of Static Orb and Storage Matrix.

Strionic Resonator + Smokestack/Braids, Cabal Minion/Bitterblossom: This is quite easy: Use Strionic Resonator to get yourself an extra token or to force your opponents to sacrifice twice as many permanents to Braids or Smokestack...

I had an interesting discussion with a pal of mine earlier today about EDH:

Pal: Hey, could you suggest me a good combo commander?
    Me: Ghave maybe?
Pal: I said good. And besides, Ghave isn't a combo commander, it can't even win with infinite mana on the same turn you cast it.

Now I'm kinda tempted to build a combo-Ghave just to prove my pal wrong...

It's good that you make such distinctions so us master race engineers don't get confused for you mere scientists.
