All this "dies to bolt" talk is silly, 90% of the format dies to bolt. And not only that, red does not even make up a majority of decks. The meta is still very diverse.

Just a short list of good three drops that die to bolt and give no immediate card advantage ive actually seen played:
Vampire nighthawk, bogart ram gang, goblin chieftan, rage forger(bff), countryside crusher, azusa, mangara, aven mindscensor, ohran viper, guttersnipe, knight of the reliquary, trygon predator, and funny enough, magus of the moon.

Are you being serious here? 99% of the cards you listed see 0 competitive play, and by competitive i mean, at least, a day 2 in a gp. The only one that actualyl sees play is mindsensor, and thats because he DOEs something when he enters, which is to deny a search thanks to flash.
And KoTR is rarely entering as a 2/2, you have no reason gift your opponent an easy bolt target, the same way you do not cast a scavenging ooze with no dudes in the Gy, or green mana open.
    thats just a bad play.

celestial purge can hit non artifact/enchantment permanents, which is QUITE relevant, if you ask me.
Things like liliana, kiki jiki, or bob (if you dont have a bolt in hand)

yeah, he just missed the win, it's not the most common chain I suppose, but still. All he needed was the kiki & angel, and it was gg.

maybe he just plays 1 kiki jiki?

Is it just me or does Affinity need a nerf? It just isn't fun to play against a deck that can empty it's hand turn 1 and force you on your back seat right away.

No, Affinity does not need a nerf.

There is a plenty of hate cards that pretty much demolish it, if you don't pack the hate for it then plan on not having a great match against it.
The reason it's doing so well in my opinion is because of all the pod and combo hate going on which leads to less sideboard hate for Affinity. You have to respect it.

It's always like this, is a cycle: a good deck has great hate against but the hate is narrow --> the deck doesn't accomplish much in the last period --> no more much hate in SB --> the deck resurges

No way affinity needs a nerf. If anything, it needs a boost, o simply to leave it as it is now.

I dont really understand your list, you want to play a delver deck with only 2 serum visions, and 3 cryptic commands?
You dont even run 4 bolts and paths to clear the way?

i would say to keep one of each in the side, theya re really versatile and hit a lot of problem cards for us. Purge gets rid of blood moon/moon mage, kiki jiki, splinter twin, liliana, raging ravine and bob among the most relevant ones, while combust hits restoration angel, exarch and pestermite, village beel ringer, and colonnades, all for 2 mana, and combust is even uncounterable.
Pretty good if you ask me.

Well, the problem with playing splits of things like anger is that, unlike other kinds od splits, when you need it, its because you want to wipe the board, most likely cause you are dying.
Draw the wrong one and you lose. Quite simple, actually. Besides, verdict seems a lot less necessary now that melira and zoo are on the rise, while jund/junk/GB are a lot less played. The only relevant target is fae, which isnt being played in big numbers.
I suppose you could make a case for etched champion, but . . . its too situational, right now anger seems the best of the 2 cards.

I think you can cut the 4th path for a 3rd mana leak or electrolyze, aside from that the list looks perfect to me.
the only thing i really dont agree is with 2 veredicts and 1 anger. Either you play 2 verdicts, or 2 angers, not a split. And a lone mindsensor doesnt work, its 3 or none.

Dude relax, im pretty sure he didnt mean to sound aggresive or anything anyways, you are sounding way more a jack-off than he is.

The silence+scepter (or any other 2 cmc spell, for that matter) is actually virtual CA, and not real one.
Think of it this way: If you cast the spell, you get its effect and a -1 CA (unless the spell also replaces itself)
If you cast it from a scepter, you get a -2 that turn (ther spell and the scepter). But with each activatation, you get a +1, since you ARE casting the spell therefore getting its benefits, and its not costing you cards from your hand.

Going to board whipes. Is terminus or supreme v better? Terminus gets around indestructible but helps pod decks. I can't decide. Or no board whipes.

I prefer terminus. It has pseudo instant speed (remand / think twice into terminus is backbreaking) AT 1 CMC. +1 cost at 6 cmc doesn't bother us much (of course the extra casting cost really counts if it's <5 cmc).

Idk why you think it helps pod decks.

For all those discussing Mana Leak vs Remand, please make sure you're aware that in the mirror you Remand your own spells (and Mana Leak generally does nothing).

Absolutely. U also need to remember that playing remand to your own spell is mediocre. Even if it's a plus, I won't considering that kind of value when evaluating remand.

The only reason i play remand is it's a cantrip which counter and it wonders vs flashback.

Is that so? Well then, when your key spell eats a counterflux, lets see if you want to remand your own spell or not.

Dont hope too much for price drops on remand, the duel decks wont be 20 dollars anyways, if anything, that will keep the price from getting any higher. Just like with MM, price tags wont change too much.

^ It helped the PT victory on a control deck, not a midrange one. Thats a great difference.

^seems pretty good to me, courser is a really solid card, and the magic 4 toughness really gets there.
