iIs staff good yes. Is it ban worthy, not as long as TnN is legal and I can get kiki script or mike and trike. I can win the game with one card that has only one way to answer it (counterspells) and if I have used bosejui there are even fewer answers. staff is at least a 3 card combo two-ish with Rofellos. I feel there are to many cards on the ban list of a non sanctioned format.

ps Oblivion Stone is better than nev's disk.

You are missing quite a bit withthis list. Any of the mana elves (3 of them I think) with 5 elves that ones easy I can do it turn two, or the fact that it is a mana dump for all those infinite mana combos. So, all in all I would say it combos with a lot. I am, however, on the unban side of this card and feel like more need to come off i.e. Library of Alexandria. I stillbeleive in the banning of Jhoria, but we hve beaten that dead horse to death.

I run 38 mana producing lands in my deck yes I am missing land drop on purpose. My mean CMC is 3 and 5 with only one card with a CMC or than 6.
EDIT: sorry about the double post still learning.

MLD can suck but if you play smart magic you can win the game off someone elses MLD spell. I will often hold my mana crypt and two or so lands antill I absolutely need them which allows me to recover more quickly often time than the MLD player, giving me the "W".
1
I always assume that if someone is playing blue they are playing counters, if they are playing red I assume MLD. in life and in magic I live my the old saying, "plan for the worst, hope for the best." If you do this then you are never off your gaurd, and when the worst does not come to pass then you are already better off then you were.
I do hate poor threat assessment. Going after the weaker player just some how seems like the bad play. I have to use resources to do so leaving me open to a person with the stronger position, and take out some one who might be able to help me stop the person in the lead from winning. It just seems like bad magic playing.
