It's unlikely to me that wotc would think to unban anything, something groundbreaking like that is well beyond their capabilities and understanding. I'd like to see Twin unbanned, I think it's bs that it was banned in the first place but I don't see that ever happening. As for what's going to be banned, pfft, nothing short of 2 cards even upwards to 3 I would expect to be cut. What those are, ya'll already know what they are.
It's pretty sad seeing how everyone including our dear leader Lantern just sound so demoralized, hopefully this mess gets cleared up soon enough. Way to go wotc, way to go...
I am getting back into zoo after around a year of non stop Affinity and I have to say that Zoo is a lot more fun to play.
Not the same thing the whole time and with Zoo I sideboard to make myself stronger not to hope and survive game 2.
What I also love is that Zoo is not easy to hate, Playjng Affinity you get used to losing the whole match to only one card that is coming out of the sideboard.
I am thinking of selling it now it is high in price and just keep having fun with Zoo.
If only those Goyf were not so expensive.
I agree with Lantern, if anything if you want to sell off Affinity go with Burn instead, it's a safe investment and a lot of its cards can go with Small Zoo as well. In addition I feel like Affinity will get the chopping block at some point.
It really depends on the person and their personality type. To some control is very easy but someone like myself who's only ever into aggro I'd have a tough time with one. I'm not going to be able to answer your question fully but I'll list the 3 decks I always play, the top would be Burn, followed by Elves, and Zoo being the one that takes the most skill for me to use.
From what I've seen and experienced, it's a combination of the hate, fragility, and overall fatigue with the deck. With elves being a very competitive deck that's also affordable, I've seen burn players in my area transition over to it, in addition thematically it's also more interesting. And with Goblin Piledriver coming back, I'm willing to bet that a significant portion of what's left of the burn players at that point will move over to that.
I update my Burn and Zoo regularly as sets come and new ideas and builds for it arise. It was not that hard for me to get into Modern as I had duals in stock to trade for both decks and all their relevant sideboard cards. Legacy isn't that popular and most people are either EDH/Modern/Standard or drafters in my area of the state so it was not as hard a decision to get out of the format and into something better supported.
This format is just too expensive now for the late comers.
With out a doubt, if not for my stock of duals which I got for $15-$32 each during the days of Odyssey, I would not be able to have both a Burn and Zoo with enough trade value left over for sideboard cards and future inclusions. I cannot even begin to imagine trying to start with this format from scratch.
I been mainly playing Zoo these days but I decided to look back at this list and incorporate some of the ideas from that deck into my Knights list. I been doing some playtests and I'm delighted to see how fast it can be.
Yea no offense to Elves I play it myself but if that deck can be in Tier 2 then this deck absolutely deserves to be in standing along side it.

For those that have it, can it carry a deck box that can hold 75 double sleeved cards, or better known as a Legion deck box?
