Before I ask for critiques, I'll give some!

Ayamie - I think you did a good job matching the green and making it varied between shades. I'd love to see the final product once you complete the smaller plants along the path.

Lyricat - I really like the Gisela, Blade of Goldnight one best. The colors all match and it's an energetic but not cluttered piece. The Gemhide Sliver could use more to punch up the piece.

This is my second attempt at altered art and I would love any critiques! I apologize for the fuzzy picture, it was the best shot I could get >.<

I have a few questions as well:

    1) When I scrape the ink off, I'm using an exacto knife. If done right, is it supposed to leave a vaguely rough texture behind? I'd like to make it smoother, if possible.

    2) Aside from thinning the paint more, is there a way to make the end product smoother? It was commented to me that it felt rougher where the paint was than it should.

    3) Can anyone link me to a good tutorial/video for carbon copying on cards? I feel like it's easy, but I haven't found something with a step-by-step process, and I don't want to do something silly when trying it.

Thanks in advance for any input!

First time here and my first attempt at a card alter. Used a Plains card a friend gave to me so I could practice without worrying about messing something nice up.
