Wanted to play 4 Nighthawks for the flying lifelink deathtouch, but I find that I don't always get 2B on turn 3 so 3 Nighthawks seem to be a good number.
Added one more Bloodgift Demon, Heartless Summoning for a more stable ramp and one more Lightning Helix for the lifegain.
The main improvement I want is to have more synergies between the cards, and a more stable early game. So far the it seems like the main weakness of this deck is to survive early game against fast decks and get out the win con such as Bloodgift and Baneslayers.
Ajani keeps cards untaped and may shoot a lightning helix.
Elspeth puts a 1/1 token or +3/+3 flying buff to creature, which is nice, but it's hardly a game winner all by itself, it has to have creatures to back her. 2W for mana is also not ideal for a tri-color deck.
Neither of them are hexproof and are very weak to the likes of Lightning Bolt.
I don't understand how these 2 are better finisher than a hexproof 5/5 that is very likely to become a permanent flying, indestructible hexproof 9/9.
Deck is mostly creature based, with 12 instants to give it that versatility and panache.
Uril Miststalker + Shield of the Oversoul + exalted usually wins the game with 8+ damage per turn. You can't go wrong with Bloodbraid elf, you almost always get back more than the 3 mana you paid her for.
What I'm unsure of is Naya Charm, I just feel like for a 3 mana instants there are better options. And also the lands, I wonder if I have too many fetchlands and shocklands.
the thing about an exalted deck is that it doesn't need every creature to have exalted. It still needs optimum creatures to swing with.
Turn 1: War Falcon for example doesn't have exalted, but a turn 2 Sigiled Paladin leaves you with first strike blocker and lets you swing for 3 damage in the air on turn 2.
So many exalted dudes are soldiers or knights that War Falcon seems like a great guy to soak up all the exalted triggers.
Knotvine Paladin is another early drop creature that can get retarded with a bunch of exalted guys sitting back. He doesn't have evasion but he definitely crunches through opposing guys.
Ultimately however i feel the problem with "exalted.dec" is that it essentially begs for you to over extended, but leaves you too easily open to inadvertantly being fogged. 4 Dudes on the field, Swing with 1 dude, he eats a path to exile. you lost a creature and did no damage for the turn. So if this is the route you are going, hexproof and protection from: are your two favorite keywords. Also consider evasion... no one likes to get chump blocked all day and once you start to attack with multiple guys you're likely to look back at the deck and think... man i'm not even playing exalted anymore. Don't overlook man lands either. Treetop Village and creeping tar pit both carry exalted triggers like champs
I don't really understand. If I'm going to play KOTR and Silverblade Paladin, I may as well make this a knights deck since it is hardly a exalted deck anymore, and I already have a knights deck Plus how is Silverblade Paladin better than Rafiq of the Many in an exalted deck? They both give double strike, but the major difference is that Silverblade Paladin has no exalted and it gives another bonded creature double strike which is essentially useless because by attacking with more than 1 creature you are forfeiting the exalted bonus.
Knight of the White Orchid is incredible CA in white, I don't know why more people don't run him in knight builds. The problem is that even though he's 2cmc, he's a turn 3 play. I'm also a big fan of Riftmarked Knight, especially if you wrath on turn 4 or 5 while he's suspended.
Exactly, and if the opponent uses mana generating artifacts or creatures to produce mana instead of land, White Orchid's ETB effect comes even slower or even useless.
I have a simple question: I have several 2/2 Knight creatures on the field, my opponent plays Pyroclasm, I flash in Knight Exemplar with Aether Vial as a response. My Knight Exemplar would die, would that save my 2/2 Knights?
Do you think it's possible to build a decent tier 2-3 modern deck with him in it?
Either a Gruul, zoo or Naya.

The idea is to make a deck that have strong flying creatures, draw power, burn spells and disruption.
1 Bloodgift Demon
2 Restoration Angel
3 Tidehollow Sculler
3 Vampire Nighthawk
4 Wall of Omens
Enchantments:
2 Heartless Summoning
3 Phyrexian Arena
4 Boros Charm
4 Lightning Bolt
2 Lightning Helix
3 Path to Exile
4 Arid Mesa
1 Blood Crypt
1 Clifftop Retreat
3 Godless Shrine
1 Isolated Chapel
4 Marsh Flats
1 Mountain
1 Plains
3 Sacred Foundry
1 Swamp
1 Tectonic Edge
1 Vault of the Archangel

Many thanks!!!

4 Woolly Thoctar
3 Uril the Miststalker
4 Shield of the Oversoul
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Lightning Helix
4 Naya Charm
4 Arid Mesa
2 Forest
1 Kessig Wolf Run
4 Marsh Flats
2 Mountain
2 Sacred Foundry
3 Stomping Ground
3 Temple Garden

Very good advice, thanks.

Can someone suggest what lands I should have, and whether I should make any changes?
