Mirran Crusader needs a big mention in the Melira POD matchup, as that's the main reason many are mainboarding it now. It tends to just end the game very quickly against Melira POD.
Good sideboard cards against Scapeshift:
Leyline of Sanctity
Runed Halo (naming Valakut, the molten pinnacle)
Fulminator Mage
Liliana of the Veil
Burrenton Forge-Tender (Protection against red sweepers)
Aven Mindcensor
Tectonic Edge
Good sideboard cards against GR Tron:
Stony Silence
Fulminator Mage
Aven Mindcensor
Tectonic Edge
Ghost Quarter
Burrenton Forge-Tender (Protection against red sweepers)
Pithing Needle or Oblivion Ring against Karn.
Good sideboard cards against Storm:
Rest in Peace
Leyline of Sanctity
Runed Halo (naming Grapeshot)
Liliana of the Veil (reducing their hand is important)
Zealous Persecution (killing goblin swarm)
Also Rule of Law, Ethersworn Canonist etc., but I don't think we need that narrow cards when we have so many other good answers.
Bogles:
Runed Halo (usually naming bogle or the hexporoof elf)
Liliana of the Veil (or other cards with an edict effect)
Mirran Crusader
Zealous Persecution (on the play you can sweep their 1/1 hexproof creature in response to an aura spell)
Enchantment removal like Disenchant or Oblivion Ring
In midrange/tempo I think we're more looking for creatures that can play a role both on defense and offense. Queller and pyromancer (and snapcaster) can do that and also provide card advantage or virtual card advantage in many cases. The walls will look stupid in many situations, like against combo and ramp when you're trying to get them to zero.
Well, in legacy there has been plenty of midrange goodstuff decks playing Jace together with geist. When True name got printed, they switched out geist with True name, but these decks otherwise look pretty much the same as when they played geist.
Bitterblossom, eh? Well, good thing you're in the right color to remove that with an Abrupt Decay/Maelstrom Pulse then.
Now if I was playing Jeskai Jace, on the other hand, that Bitterblossom would scare the crap out of me as I'd have no maindeck ways to remove it ... (EDIT)In jund you could even play that bitterblossom yourself.

Top 8 is one thing, but there's no Jeskai among the top 30 modern decks. It looks like the top jeskai deck was Toru Inoue at 41st and Yuta Takahashi at 60th (both playing 4 geists and 2 Field of Ruins), if the order here is correct:

Well, more than half (63%)of the players made day 2 in this tournament, so making day 2 may not be that impressive. In the end, the top results for Jeskai was not the strongest, with only two 7-3's and three 6-4's, so we're now down from 3rd to 7th place in the MTGOGoldfish meta: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/metagame/modern#paper
Edgar is banned in dual/french commander (20 life), but not in MTGO 1V1 Commander.
This weeks MTGO 1V1 challenge was won by Edgar again, and there was 12 Edgar lists in top 32: https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/mtgo-standings/commander-1-v-1-challenge-2018-01-08
A real cheese fest...

Just a little correction, that is: 3 Jeskai Queller, 1 Jeskai Control, 2 UW Control and 1 grixis control.
