Anafenza, Spirit of the Family Tree WW
Legendary Creature - Spirit Soldier (R)
Whenever another nontoken creature enters the battlefield under your control, bolster 1.
2/2
Not for token decks sure. But she works well with persist. Buffs your weenies. Provides synergy for spirit or soldier tribal decks.
I think she works better as one of the 99 in a blink type deck. Blinking a bunch of creatures with strong ETB effects while buffing your current creatures.
I decided to look through the allies and see which ones might be playable on their own: Harabaz Druid: Actually not bad on its own, though without more allies it's just a worse Birds of Paradise. Sea Gate Loremaster: Drawing a card every turn is nice, but maybe not good enough to run on its own. Needs a lot of allies to be useful. Tuktuk Scrapper: If you're desperate for artifact removal, you could consider it.
Sea Gate Loremaster is also a wizard though, so that may be relevant depending on the list you are running
If I steal an opponents Ashcloud phoenix with an effect like Act of treason
then kill it who gains control of it when it comes back as a morph. The card doesn't specify controller or
owner's control.
At FNM last night we came to conclusion it owner got it. Ruling on gatherer didn't offer much help.
Umbral Mantle could be considered. More so if you add in Urbog, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Cabal Coffers combo,
dump bunch of mana into it and you have a creature that mills and untaps to mill for more.
Karametra seems like she may be a bit too high costed for constructed outside of EDH, but she seems really strong as a general.
Unravel the Aether is a strong green tuck for all the new enchantment generals that will see play in EDH. In addition to a decent sideboard card for other formats to deal with gods or other problem enchatments/artifacts.
So with champion's first effect, It says sacrifice X creatures :. Does this mean I can sacrifice my creatures on the battlefield currently and then reanimate them?
Archetype of Imagination is... weird, to say the least. Might we see a cycle of them?
Yes
Born of the Gods contains a cycle of five enchantment creatures, one of each color, called Archetypes.
Each Archetype has two abilities: one that grants a keyword ability to all of your creatures, including itself, and one that makes your opponents' creatures lose that same keyword.
He could have limited impact in a bant flicker type deck assuming you have nothing better to flicker a couple times a turn. The 2 life will add up, but as said above plenty of other options.

Nope
Yes
The Heroic is decent, more for multiplayer though.
