    BOOM! Broke it.
    1) Mystic comes into play and does 3 damage.
    2) You mill yourself 3 cards.
    3) You sacrifice mystic for blue mana with altar.
    4) Recast mystic with escape using the blue mana exiling the 3 cards you milled.
    5) Rinse and repeat

I really don’t understand why it only gives 1 creature a counter instead of all of your creatures. This is not a mythic Mythic. Do they actually want White to be the worst color in Magic? They could do so many little things to make White more viable but they consistently choose not to.

Is this sarcasm? I am legitimately unsure.

Walking Ballista even better? Lifelink + ping to death in Pioneer...

Seems pretty bannable. Saheeli cat combo got banned although this requires either a 3rd card, 6 mana (4 for balista and 2 for lifelink) or 2 turns to go off. Bellowing Aegisaur + walking ballista never got banned so maybe this won't either?

Sweet Baby Jesus. I can finally justify acquiring one to playtest in my enchantment edh deck. Dancing Banana

I'm actually luke warm on this one. When it's good it's insane but without other cards it's floor is pretty low. If control stays the powerhouse that it is, this will just incentivize you to play incorrectly against them. It will be great for taking out the trash so to speak, but it only solidifies an advantage it doesn't help you get into a game your are behind in already. The rest of the cycle seem better because they will be easier to cast when your opponent is using interactive spells. I think I'm highest on the knight one to be honest. Its ceiling isn't as high as the others but it's floor is actually very reasonable. If I"m all out of action a 6 mana artifact that makes 3/3 vigilante knights is not bad, it has potential to be a cheap anthem and and can help you quickly redeploy after a board wipe when pared with legendary creatures. It seems to be a solid role player for the decks that want it. When looking at the green one I just don't think expensive card that does nothing on it's own is going to shake up a format that already has hydroid krasis. And in a lot od situations it worse than ghalta which definitely wasn't a format defining card. That said it seems like the green one will be an absolute monster in edh and brawl.

Duskmantle seer wasn't bad it just never had a home. It was rather good vs the thragtusk decks of the day since it flow over defenses and made combat a nightmare for them by changing lifetotals dramatically and unpredictably. That said it only needed 1-2 turna to kill in the late game and sweepers weren't that popular. This seems more like early agression that drows your opponent out of mana troubles and into sweepers. Maybe a burn style deck could use it but certainly not knight tribal.

Definitely looks modern playable. Fetchlands and hand disruption will turn it on fairly quickly and the average cmc is fairly low. In standard it seems kinda bad.

Honestly I wouldn't run double cast at all. It's true that it can combo off with expansion with out a third card, but it's so bad if you don't have the combo. You really need that 4th expansion :|. I would also run Warlord's Fury/Crash Through as another 1 cmc card to start the copying combo. The other numbers depend on the meta. For example if there isn't a lot of mono red/white I would also cut ionizes for more negates. If there are a lot of them I would find a way to fit 1-2 Fiery Cannonade maindeck along with chart a course to dump it in the bad matchups. I'm not that big of a fan of Chemister's Insight outside of control. I think you want to be casting spells every turn sometimes multiple and insight is just slow. I also am not huge on mission breifing. I like chart a course much better. You could try tormeting voice over chart because it combos better with ral's minus, but getting it countered hurts. The one thing to keep in mind about my suggestions is that you will have to make sure you are prepared to kill narset, but it gives you a pretty good sb plan for bringing in drakes like crackling drake. In the main deck you might want to consider a saheeli or two as alternate win condition.

The other option would be to add another color and try to slow the game down and justt combo off at 6 mana, but if you are making it to 6 mana there are cards in standard that can end the game on their own, so there isn't a real justification for trying to combo instead of just dropping a liliana or something.

3 mana seems like too much for modern. I can't imagine this even warranting a spot in hollow one. However, it does seem sweet for standard pheonix decks as a 2-3 of. 4 toughness is a big deal and that incidental damage adds up in a deck packed with burn.

This seems like a a potential value engine in lantern control. It's an artifact so it is fetchable with whir and they have quite a bit of library control. probably not very playable at 4 cmc though(at least in non-vintage formats). Seems sweet as a causal card though.

This is hilarious flavor. I am putting it in my equipment commander deck even if it's not actually good with Aurelia, the Warleader. Don't let your memes be dreams.

lich seems quite good as an anti aggro card. 3 toughness isn't exactly where you want to be, but lifelink and looting will make sure you can stall and find answers. It doesn't seem terrible in the control mirror either as an early way to pressure walkers and fix draws.

I have to agree with crispen here. Coco threatens to affect the board at instant speed and cheats on mana. This loses you 5 mana and doesn't immediately impact the board. It might still be worth the tempo loss to grab any 2 creatures, but I think this has more in common with Eladamri's Call.

having played with Spellgorger Weird quite a bit in war of the spark limited I have to disagree on the floor part. it's floor is a 3cmc creature that dies to removal, which isn't good enough for modern, but the tempo loss isn't that bad for standard and is completely acceptable for limited. I would even consider it in pauper because you have to work pretty hard for card advantage there although it has pretty stiff competition in Thorn of the Black Rose for black card advantage engine. Keep in mind the floor of Thorn of the Black Rose is you draw 1 card and then your opponent draws cards for the rest of the game. As long as you back it up with hand disruption and removal it should do work.
