Evacuation has been great until I played against Eldrazi. I still use it cause all i need is an extra turn. Blue and colorless board wipes are hard to come by.

How is oblivion stone worth it as it’s way to slow?
    Washout sounds way better.
    Forcefield?
Found a deck I have problems with and am now building. Food chain tazari is broken. Went off turn 3. O_o

If you have a combo to win, why would you not assemble it to win at the right moment?
If you had the win condition but needed politics to lock down the opponents to get it, why would not sit and wait?
If your commander is over 5 cmc, why would you play it immediately without some way of protecting it?
If you are looking for interactions with all opponents, why do players pick fights with each, each are active, and ignore the player silently building up?
Is it the infinite combos you hate or different style of play, politics, and builds that matter?
    Spikes get so much hate.

Are you replying to me? If so, I think I answered all of your questions had you of read the post rather than defend yourself from a non-existent attack.
A few questions of my own-
Why even sit down at the table?
    Why isn't this coherent?
Why play Commander if you have no intentions of, you know, playing your Commander?
The rest just doesn't make sense and the first question I asked covers it, did you read the post?

Yes, I hate people who sit down at a table of 4+ people where their only objective is to win. It's obnoxious.

You did, however, answer one of my questions. YOU must be the one eating all the creme filling...

You answered a single question and responded like a scum player in mafia.
Why would eat the nasty cracker of an Oreo? It messes with teeth. The filling us the best and the true goal of the snack.
    1. To challenge myself to game of commander where I test my skills to win.
    2. I don’t know why said anything about coherrant other than to act like....maybe lay off the pot?
    3. I play my commander when I can protect it and win. If I don’t, your deck did require my commander to beat you. Resource allocation....try it.
I did read the post but you were begging the question of skill versus stuidity. Also, most of the complainers on are attacking the guy who wins a lot cause they are playing jank and expecting others to roll over to another rocket man. Sorry we don’t care.
If you hate people who play to win, which is the goal of the game, why don’t you just gray some tequila and play beer pong. Way more fun if that’s what your looking for.
Also, i eat the whole cookie and leave nothing behind to be as eficient as possible. I play magic the same style.
The dude who ate all the filling was the group hug player. Takes the filling and leaves you the cookie like it’s a favor.

Spike needs to be a comes into play effect of counter, destroy, remove, or gain control. Spike could also be a stax effect.
I am a spike player. These are what I need to win.

    C

    red mana

Counter target spell that is attempting to counter a spell or ability you control.
    This spell can’t be countered.

“Uh-huh” is more fun to say to a “nu-huh”, sounds even better when said by the most interesting man in world.

    Minnitors are never blue. Right????
Black and red would cover pirates and vampires to some extent. White could be added as we have seen boros versions of said creature type.
Pirates in this set are mehhh to me as they are really fragmented in win conditions. IMO only.
I see Angrath kicking becket brasses butt to form an alliance with vamps. Easiest way to write an epic battle. The question is over what are they fighting for?
    Treasure?
    Power source?
Is the plain/planet maybe a “stax” plainswalker itself controling other plainswalkers like a leach?
Angrath imo might be our first land destruction plainswalker besides ajani. Or they could team up out of nowhere and confuse the hell out of me.
A gorgon, human, minnator, and leonin walk into a stax plain.....best beginning of a joke.

Ajani shows up and brings together the driads/tree people to fight the pirates in a out of no where battle. Magic players.....:weird: I don't see Ajani doing anything here beside side kick support. Maybe he brings the portal from Kalidesh with him? I don't see the vamps working with Ajani as there is a major philosophical challenge.
It would be interesting to see the merfolk and dino riders unite to fight a combined pirate/vamp conquistador army. What if Angrath was printed in try color? black mana white mana red mana No blue. He unites the fleets on the water to take on "x" army of good guys? The real question you all should be asking is, what side is Vraska on?

I don't really think calling one side or the other "whiny" really helps anything.

Basically all problems can be resolved by briefly asking to determine the competitiveness/comboness of peoples' decks before the game starts. No reasonable person wants to play a game where they're playing a high-powered combo deck and everyone else is playing draft-chaff-dinos.

I'll briefly throw in that I think it's an interesting challenge to try to build decks that can handle combo and other high-power decks without totally trampling weak decks. Personally I've had the most success with political control decks, though I've been having fun recently playing kaervek the merciless, though he's a little more middle-of-the-road powerwise, in that he's not great against combo and he's a little tramply of weak decks - thought not TOO weak or TOO tramply.

I fear that deck. It’s good if you build it right.
When I face a bunch of strong combo decks, it’s fun to play jund hate or gruul FU deck of land destruction and burn. Burning tree shaman, harsher mentor, and ruric thar hoses my memnarch deck bad.
Biggest fear.....boil. I have survived this spell only once.
I used to build decks that troll really hard in standard to win. So...when someone builds a deck to troll my memnarch or atraxa deck, I feel honered.

Playing competitive is what I prefer. Short games are more favorable than long ones cause I don’t time to sit there for hours. If your commander has life link and you attack with hatred; people might say that a dirty combo. What’s the difference between might of oaks on a double strike commander killing an opponent off? I have noticed players are either getting more competitive like me or others are becoming more whiney. Some players just want to not be controlled or acknowledge control exists. They look at players like me as the bully. WTH?
When they loose, the throw the biggest fits to near 12 year old tantrum status. Know a player that does group hug and when counter or destroy a group positive affect, he looses his mind. I fear combo as well but I play it to win. Balance folks. Infinite combos are fine cause I have infinite colorless and had nothing to use it on.

    New gaea's cradle!
Was working with the locust god, but it's slow and meh.
I think this should be a control package with oops I win ending.
I am looking at building a competitive version of this. Thus, i am hijacking or going after this build in my own way. You have a nice skeleton. The lands to be blue based or esper set for board wipes. Will work on this over the week.
Also looking at a land destruction version.
