No way Glimpse is unbanned in Modern. It's like the exact opposite of what WOTC wants for the format.

But Reverent Hunter is not cubeable IMO.

    Another idea:

    Social Hermit 1GG
    Creature - Human Druid
When ~ enters the battlefield, you may distribute X +1/+1 counters on any number of creatures you control where X is your devotion to green.
    1/1

Is anybody else not a fan of Boros Reckoner in some of the more control-oriented builds? He's good against red-based removal, but still dies to lightning bolt. Has anyone had experience with good ol' Phyrexian Ironfoot doing a half-decent Brimaz impression? It survives Anger of the Gods (best sweeper against most of the field) and can do a bit of a better job at walling off 3-power attackers. Just wondering if the switch even helps that much.

I've also been thinking about the GP Milan list and had a couple questions people might be able to answer here.
1: 4 Helix MD. The reason I could see this as very good is that RWu burn has to frequently bolt themselves for lands. And minimizing the life loss could buy you another turn. Also with the huge influx of Chalice of the Void in the meta, maybe he's maximizing the ability to play through that card.

2: 4 Eidolon MD. Is he just too good not to run 4 of? Again the 3 color lists do a lot of damage to themselves rendering this guy a bit more suicidal than 1 or 2 color lists. A lot of decks also currently run super efficient removal spells to deal with URx Delver and ascendency. Is giving them a target for that really worth it? Lately hens just been a Shock for me.

3: Only 3 Searing Blaze and not Grim Lavamancer in the 75. Is that truly a good way to position yourself in a higher Delver and Pod field? Seems like you might want more of these two cards or Searing Blood in the deck.

4: 1-ofs in the sideboard (looking at you Torpor Orb and Relic). Both of these cards are ones that you kinda want decently early on in their MUs. Having one makes it to where you really need to roll the dice on whether or not you sideboarded at all. I haven't had much luck with Torpor Orb anyway. I kinda just prefer more Skullcrack effects, but maybe that's wrong.

    Thoughts?

Yeah, there are a few nifty things you could do. Here are some things I just thought of.

    Boros Devotee RW
    Creature - Human Soldier
Boros Devotee gets +X/+Y where X is your devotion to Red and Y is your devotion to White.
    1/1

    Crippling Specter 1BB
    Creature - Specter
    Flying
As Crippling Specter enters the battlefield, choose an opponent and a color. Crippling Specter gets +X/+X where X is the chosen opponent's devotion to the chosen color.
    2/2

    Devoted Gardener 2G
    Creature - Elf
As long as your devotion to Green is greater than 3, Devoted Gardener gets +2/+2.
    2/2

What do people think about Sudden Shock as a sideboard option? Obv it's not specifically for going to the dome, but more for trouble creatures like Combust. I was wondering what other people's pro/con lists looked like on this card.

I don't think it'd be crazy to expect the titans as a mythic cycle. That actually makes a lot of sense to me.

    Side boarding against Chalice:
Shattering Spree is perfectly fine. Like someone said: just make sure to replicate it if you're trying to get rid of chalice specifically. It also can do wonders against affinity. I'd choose this card primarily if you expect to see a lot of affinity.

Vexing Shusher: This guy can get around Chalice while also protecting against counter magic. The only issue is that he dies to removal. While that may not be a huge deal in some MUs, it's a very big deal in most. It can be taken out with any of the large number of spot removal spells people are playing right now. There are very few MUs where this is marginally better than just another generic burn spell.

Smash to Smithereens: This is probably the best option for a number of reasons. It's an instant. That allows you to go EOT Smash; untap; 3xBolt equivalent. That's a huge advantage. It also deals damage itself. That can't be understated but is frequently overlooked considering THE ONLY THING WE WANT TO DO IS COUNT TO 20. This card is stellar even in legacy.

Destructive Revelry: Basically the same as Smash but requires G and deals one less dmg, BUT does also hit enchantments.

Wear//Tear: Same as Destructive Revelry, but requires W for the occasional 2-for-1.

Here's my try. Hopefully they're not too OP, but I have a feeling some might be.

    U/G
    1UG: ~ becomes a 3/3 with hexproof.

    R/U
    1RU: ~ becomes your choice of a 1/4, a 2/2, or a 4/1

    R/W
RW: ~ becomes a 2/2 with "whenever ~ is dealt damage, it deals that much damage to target creature or player."

    W/B
3WB: ~ becomes a 1/4 with "whenever ~ deals combat damage, put a 1/1 white spirit creature token with flying onto the battlefield."

    B/G
2GB: ~ becomes a creature with power and toughness equal to the number of cards in your graveyard.

I would increase the fixing count past 40, personally.

Are you opposed to using proxies for the Zen fetches? (assuming they were omitted for budget reasons)

I'm gonna second Juju's suggestion to not forget the 5-color fixers. Those are by far more important than the wedge lands or shard lands. Non-conventional options for more of those include City of Ass, Exotic Orchard, and Paliano (from conspiracy).

Scars of Mirrodin fast lands are also quite solid.

As a general note, include color fixing mana rocks in your artifact section. For example, you may want to use Sphere of Suns instead of Mind Stone.

I think the tough part about putting a creature on Miracle mode is that creatures are VERY curve-sensitive. It's hard to come up with a creature that is very good but not busted at 2cmc while still being cubeable at 5 mana. I think the closest you can get is Entreat the Angels.

Maybe though, you could do something that has an ETB effect or something like this:

    Miracle Grow 2G
    Creature - Human Gardener
    Miracle G
When ~ enters the battlefield, target forest you control becomes a 4/4 green elemental creature. It's still a land. If ~ was cast for its miracle cost, sacrifice it.
    2/2

Very awesome card! There have been some sweet aggro decks that have used it well. It's best buds with Flagstones of Trokair in landfall zoo or landfall Boros lists. It is also used in the Garga-geddon/Restore Balance combo decks as cascadable Armageddon 5-8.

I feel like running the Basalt Monolith/Mesmeric Orb combo in this deck is really powerful. With enough recurs ion effects, the engine is basically a tutor effect. If you run that, you'd probably want something like Cranial Archive to make sure you don't get milled-out.
