Seems like you've been going through the colors in your last few. Maybe you could do something on Red eventually ; p. Looking forward to future episodes.
My cube is 450. Will try to post it when I have sometime off work.
The main cards I have to interact with are
Braids / smallpox / Armageddon / strip mine / life from the loam / wildfire / dust bowl / looting effects / cataclysm.
Most obvious ones that come to mine.
My cube doesn't have proxies so don't have fetch lands or wasteland yet due to high prices. So wasn't sure if was worth without those since fetches can be so common in most cube decks
It embarrasses me to say that its in the cube, but Spawnwrithe ! My friends just love it! Highly overrated in our cube group. When it appears in the draft there is almost always an argument over how good/ crap it is. Needless to say, I cringe every time I see it in the draft. hahaha
Oh man I laughed a little when I clicked on that card. I think I have the urge to put one in before my next draft to see the reactions.
I can almost picture someone drafting it with pack rat to create some sort of "swarm" deck lol.
I have one friend in particular who LOVES Isochron Scepter. He was very upset when I eventually ended up cutting it.
I tend to have the opposite problem. People complain about me running 'bad' cards. I don't run bad cards, they are just weird cards that perform certain roles in various decks.
I've run into that with Jackal Pup. A buddy of mine has a bullseye to remove it for being "bad"
I prefer Fire Imp. The removal + body is nice splashable card advantage for red, and it provides more value for me on average, because if it runs into removal or is a casualty in combat, I've already shot the creature with it when it came into play. It also helps to clear a path for my 1 and 2 drops to push damage through, which is important for aggro to be able to do.
Happy cubing!
Ya I'm having similar thoughts. I had Zo Zu in mind to help combat the mid range ramp decks but I may just add some more land destruction like Goblin Ruinblaster.
Btw I've had my cube goin for a few months now and have picked up a lot from looking at your cube thread. Appreciate the work
( sorry cant get an image ATM )
I remember this cards brokenness from my beginner days of Magic.
Has anyone ever tried it in cube?

And if it helps. The other GW in my cube are dryad militant, knight of reliquary, kitchen finks, and qasali pridemage
