The irony here is the card that supports foretell is about someone defying what has been foretold anyways.

peteroupc posted a message on Genju of the RealmGenju of the Realm's activated ability won't change the name of the enchanted land, since the ability doesn't say it does (compare Genju of the Realm with Awakening of Vitu-Ghazi). Thus, for example, a land named Plains will still be named Plains. This can matter if you happen to control another legendary permanent with the same name as the enchanted land. Thus, for example—Posted in: Magic Rulings- the legend rule won't kick in if you control more than one permanent with a given name but only one of them is legendary (C.R. 704.5j), but

sleeper agent 2.0 posted a message on [KHM Leak] Righteous ValkyriePosted in: The Rumor MillQuote from Werewolf_Rawr »Hate this card. Hate the design philosophy behind it. Hate everything it represents. Wizards of the Coast has lost it. They had an amazing 20 year run but the game is losing all character now.
This card could easily have been designed by one of those "I fed a bot 10,000 lines of magic card text and asked it to generate something for 2020" memes and it would be exactly like this but cost 2WW. -

user-11177686 posted a message on [KHM] Leak. Vorinclex, Monstrous riderDamn, I really just wanted a beautiful viking world. What theros was for greek mythology I wanted now for norse mythology. Period. Add some top down mechanics and a nice showcase frame and I'm happy.Posted in: The Rumor Mill
What I didn't want was onslaught 4.0 full blown tribal set and now also not phayrexian invasion 3.0 man.
I hope I can just pick up two or three fitting cards for my cube in the showcase frame and then I'll be waiting for time spiral remastered and modern horizons 2. -

There was a time when Green - because it was the color of meaty creatures - couldn't remove creatures in the battlefield. It made sense for the color pie - why should Green be able to hurt what it's all about? - but then they introduced the Fight mechanic, and recently have been just making one-sided fight effects. I'd argue any fight mechanic goes against green's color pie, since it now enables green to do something that previously only black and white could really do (And Maro seems to think White should never have even been allowed to exile creatures).
So I wouldn't call what I mentioned above power creep - I'd call it breaking the color pie. Sure fighting is "flavorful" but you can argue flavor to let any color do anything. The fact is green shouldn't be able to deal direct damage to creatures.

I don't think this is as versatile as Neoform or Eldritch Evolution. I think no matter how you manage to cast this - even if on turn 1 - it won't really do much until turn 3.

Assuming you're happy to tap out each turn, cast nothing else, and are emotionally ready to eat a removal spell.

I feel like this was made white on both sides just so it could have a chance in Modern/Legacy Death & Taxes decks. I don't think it's great though.

Personally I find Voss's style in these arts to be refreshing, and a relief. If we can't have the Foglios in 21st Century FIRE design, then Voss will have to do.

Naw. Burn wants to be dealing 6-8 damage on Turn 2, not spending 2 mana to foretell this. All it does is allow for a double bolt down the road, which Burn could achieve simply by drawing a second bolt instead of this.
