So folks, I'm looking to make some Tron players quite sad. Would this be the deck to do so? I would assume with the amount of mana destruction that this deck packs that this would be the place to be.
Has a consensous been reached about Dromoka's Command? I see some lists with a 2/2 split with Scavenging Ooze, other lists without command and with a couple more creatures, and even some with 4 of something else.. The rest of the deck seems pretty stock, there's just these 4 slots that change quite a bit (other than the utility lands to run with Knight of the reliquary
I thought it was pretty good from GP Charlotte, but since then I've been disappointed by it. I replaced it with a birds of paradise in the main and I'll probably cut it from the board.
On the topic of Scavenging Ooze, I've always been medium about the card. Had him in each of my hands in some games against Mono Green Stompy. It's hilarious how much he dominates, he stabilizes you, allows you to gain advantage (allowing their Kitchen Finks not to come back) and then outgrowing anything they play.
I know that Mono Green is by no means a Tier 1 deck, I just thought it was nice to have him in a game where he was a total house.
I went to an IQ yesterday. Top 4'd and ended up splitting. Only game I lost to was affinity/robots. Matches were infect, grixis control, burn, robots, and the mirror. I'll post my deck and every thing if any one is interested.
aaand then if I can ever find them, German foil Wild Nacatls.
I've seen a regular Wild Nacatl now and again, but foil Wilder Nacatl would be amazing!
I think that the original art of Qasali Pridemage looks pretty epic, just overseeing the land buuuut I think that the promo makes him look like a lot more of a fighter!
German Foil nacatl my god what a wonderful thing. I only have one Wilder nacatl 2 fnm promo paths. I'm not a fan of the promo Pridemages. I feel like the art on that is chunky.
Does Lingering Souls work well with Zoo game plan though? If you are trying to punch through damage, going the grindy route is usually worse than just trying to find more efficient/resilient bodies or sources of instant card advantage like Company, I think.
For now, it seems like the new updates to Zoo will come from new 3 mana guys that can be exploited by CoCo, like the Countryside Crusher discussion we are seeing these days.
It doesn't do much for the traditional Zoo gameplan. You would have seen it used in Domain Zoo to help combat Liliana of the Veil while playing with Geist of Saint Traft.
In a list like this, I would cut the Birds of Paradise and the Collected Companys. It seems like this deck is a mix between two speeds. It runs fast cards like Goblin Guide and Vexing Devil along with a good package of burn where as Coco and Birds are trying to go for a longer game. Additionally with a lot of Non-creatures in the deck, it makes Collected Company a lot worse. Once those two higher end cards are cut, the 21 lands (assuming one of the two "2x Mountain shouldn't be there) won't be much of an issue.
From what I can see, this deck is pulling in 2 different directions and that's probably why it sometimes feels clunky. 13 1-drops (of which 4 are kinda burn spells) and only 4 3-drops is bad with CoCo I think, and the overall creature count is a little bit below the accepted number in CoCo lists, which is 25 with 3 company. On the other hand, 23 lands and CoCo itself is kinda bad if you want a more low to the ground aggro deck, which wants less lands and no 4 mana spells in my opinion.
If possible, I'd try to decide between the 2 versions, because making them work in a hybrid loses the advantages of one or the other without really covering up their weaknesses like one would hope (or at least, this is what I found out trying similar hybrid lists while budgeting out my zoo, and the difference in power level from lacking CoCo or in speed from lacking the Guides and Eidolons of burn/zoo is heavily felt).
Typed up my response to their post before reading the next page. Looks like we both had the same idea.
So I've been testing Kiki chord lately and Domri is really good right now. People poop their pants as you tick him up and threaten ultimate. I beat tron because they panicked and exiled him instead of one of my combo pieces. If I was rocking zoo right now, I would definitely be testing him as a 1 or 2 of.
There's nothing to test. Domri is a house, but Collected Company is just better. 2 creatures in play at instant speed beats drawing 1/2 for the turn or two he's in play.
We have two different cards that "do" what he provided but are much more versatile. Collected Company is a better "draw spell" and Dromoka's Command is a better "fight spell". True they are not repeatable as Domri Rade is, but I believe their versatility more than trumps his repeat-ability.
I've heard that some NVIDIA users were having issues if they used multiple displays. I believe it's solved after a driver update and a restart, but I saw that it was scaring some.
Made any big changes to your list currently?

When I click on your link, it doesn't lead to a deck. Please try and find the link again and re-paste.
Go ahead and post! It's always good to share
While I can agree about the Kessig Wolf Run, I didn't think you could get that art for Knight of the Reliquary (which I like better) elsewhere.
I have two photos of the main 60 as I wanted to try and have the foils "pop" with the flash in the second one.
My next planned additions are:
- Promo Qasali Pridemages
- FNM Promo Path to Exiles. I have 1 out of my needed 3.
aaand then if I can ever find them, German foil Wild Nacatls.
I liked actually seeing your Zoo deck. We should share out photos of our lists, see what cool or "pimp" stuff people have in their 75
@Lantern: I know there are threads dedicated to this sort of thing, but it would be cool to see just those from Zoo specifically.

I would assume this would only be the Domain lists? If so, it used to be a thing where they would run 2x copies in the main or side at times.
