Thoughts on the new Pardee/Wilson/McClain list? Most interesting change is the removal of the Archangel combo. Maybe it's no longer necessary with DRS gone?
Thinking of cutting Wall of Roots to help make room for the Archangel combo. Setting aside the merits of the combo - is this a bad idea? I don't find myself podding for Wall much - of I'm getting a 2-drop, it's usually a Voice or a hate-bear. Other than the synergy with Chord, is there a good reason for keeping Wall?
Hey So Im coming from standard/Modern. Both I have been playing either U/W control or U/R delver in modern. I enjoy the Tempo ish type control decks im trying to keep this in a reasonable range (ie under 800 dollar) for now. Thank you for your guys/girls help
You might want to look at UR Delver (check out the URx Snapcaster thread in the Aggro subforum).
Thanks for the reports! I'm trying out the same list on MTGO (but just in the TP room so far) and having a lot of fun (and some reasonable success) with it. One thing I'm wondering is whether the Slagstorms in the board should be Pyroclasms, but maybe killing x/3s is worth the extra mana cost. I also have a Negate in the Clique spot, but PoN sounds like a good alternative.
I hope this deck is the real deal - I've been trying it out on MTGO and it is super fun to play. It can pull off wins out of nowhere (10/4 unblockable double-strikers will do that!) but I'm not sure how it will do when people are better prepared for it.
What do you guys think of Clutch of the undercity in scapeshift?
There was a deck featuring this card at PT RTR and i am wondering whether it could be good in the current meta as a way to fight jund's discard by having virtually 7/8 scapeshift in the deck.
Let's consider a classical deck list like the one that top8ed GP Toronto : http://www.mtgtop8.com/event?e=3938&d=223324
The way i see it we could make the changes :
-2 snapcaster -3 peer through depths - 1 cryptic command
+ 3 clutch +2 izzet charm +1 farseek
- 1 mountain -1 island
+1 swamp + 1 watery grave
Another important point is that clutch allows us to play some silver bullets in the SB such as slaughter games, creeping corrosin, sowing salt, mindbreak trap,...

Bouiboui you were ahead of your time - check out the t8 scapeshift list from GP Bilbao, which adds a black splash for Clutch (http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/gpbil13/welcome#1). I am going to try it out. Being able to use Slaughter Games against Jund (and the mirror, Twin, etc.) should be fun.
