Has MaRo given a Storm Scale number for Grandeur? Not that I'd really want Wizards to take them in that direction as I'm an EDH player, but just curious.
Grandeur is a 4. 4 = (Most Likely) according to the Storm Scale I am looking at. http://imgur.com/a/iOGCk#0
Thanks for the image. One with MaRo's explanations would be especially cool; there's some confusingly reasonable stuff in the high numbers (Provoke, Living Weapon, etc.).
None of the storm scales I have seen have listed an explanation as to why just that it is. I agree in that an explanation would help quiet a bit.
Grandeur is a 4 (or possibly less) on the Storm Scale, because, in a vacuum, Grandeur is considered (at least) most likely to return in a future expansion set.
(Note that Storm Scale ratings can evolve along with the game.)
It is a scale talking about the likeliness of something being reprinted in a Standard-legal set. Evergreen mechanics like flying are a 1 as they are almost certainly going to be reprinted while a mechanic like Storm (which the scale is named after) is a 10 meaning it is highly unlikely.
I do not use advanced knowledge on the Storm Scale. I make estimates based on their likelihood in a vacuum. If things I knew were all a 1 then the Storm Scale would just be a “yes or no” if something is in current design/development.
Would be nice if the two would combo together, though I'm not sure how that would make sense given that Khans and Dragons are supposed to be the same time along two separate timelines.
The concept of only one being featured over a thousand years later in a particular timeline still allows for the creator to design them to work together (and the opportunity for that to take place).
This card is deceptively good, it is the only 3 damage for 1 red spell ever printed that hits both players or creatures since lightning bolt came back. I think the more aggressive your deck the better this card becomes in limited. It is an instant and keeping up R isn't always that hard so if they remove your guy in response you can just use it to bathe another creature or put them even lower.
The more controlling and slow your deck is in limited is the more I could see this card becoming far more unimpressive. This card also has great synergy with cards like Ponyback Brigade since usually those 1/1s might be fodder or used as chump blockers, and you can sacrifice one to get a real removal spell.
That said, no, editing or deleting posts on this new version of the website doesn't edit or delete them on the original one. It has been forever locked in stone and put up on display.
That is what I was wondering (about the logistics of it).
I am certainly not making a claim about the rest of it.

Note that a mechanic being considered as high as 10 does not guarantee that it will not return in a Standard legal set.

Other than Dragon Hatchling (and Changelings), there is also Slumbering Dragon:
Ovinomancer - "Blammo! Here's a sheep instead."
I love this card!
After seeing manifest, this is exactly the sort of thing that I hoped would be in the set.
You seem to be thinking of Collateral Damage.
It's more than enough to be interesting.
Thanks for posting it!
Prerelease Colors?
Forged in Glory
Forged in Intellect
Forged in Tyranny
Forged in War
Forged in Pursuit
I noticed that too!
I guess that we are one step closer to unlocking this conspiracy.
Under the My Avatars section, part of the text says:
"Choose a character and select it's corresponding avatar."
The word "it's" should be "its" instead.

I am certainly not making a claim about the rest of it.
I really hate that the list of acceptable characters for names has changed.
That means I can't use my real user name anymore (even if I get a rename credit and get the rename to work).

Have you tried editing them through the new site?
If you did, did it not alter the posts when viewed through both systems?
On another note: At least your user name survived!
True.
So far, I have enjoyed it.
My old name used "*" and wasn't allowed by the new system.
-Thanks
The end URL tag has to be moved to the end. (It gets added in the middle.)
