My work schedule changed and I've been able to paint cards for my own trade stock (while at work between clients). This has never happened in the almost 6 years I've been painting cards. It's actually a nice change of pace... tattoo, paint, tattoo, paint.

My current project I'm almost half done I'm doing 2 of each artifact land. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get into the commission scene? I have no clue where to begin on that and I have no lgs I live in an anti magic field I swear
My suggestion as a novice myself is using sales/trade threads & groups on social media. To avoid any issues of promoting something I'll save links but there are a variety of alter art groups on Facebook for example where people post their work for comment, critique and to generate commissions.

My alters came from JstarfireT and Grant1. That Wayfinder wins all kinds of awards in my book and I love the French Counterspell. Now, I would be a total jerk if I didn't crack those packs and show the goodies that they held...let's just say it's raining gifts for me this year!
Okay, the envelopes hit the mail today. There are several goodies for all of you in addition to the main exchange. Some people left me cards to distribute to everyone, so I did my best to do that, although I sealed some envelopes before I realized that was the case. Full disclosure: these went in the local post office drop-off slot, which has a 13-ounce rule. Most of these were pretty light, and I've never had a problem mailing an envelope full of cards before (I used to sell a lot of cards on Ebay and never had problems), but I just wanted to give you a heads up that there is an off chance that might be an issue. If it is, they'll be returned to me and I'll mail them again, but I don't think it will be an issue. I don't know if I made any other mistakes, but at the very least I know I didn't accidently mail back any of you your own cards
Also, You're each getting TWO very special presents from a mysterious benefactor. You can thank the benefactor here to show your appreciation, but they asked to remain nameless. To be clear, I am NOT the benefactor, just an intermediary to distribute the gifts.

Okay, everyone. I got the last two packages I was waiting on today. Everything should ship out on Wednesday, although Saturday morning would be the latest. Most of you should get it by Christmas.
OOPS! Didn't read the rules about unaddressed envelope until now. Sorry, but mine is addressed. I don't care about getting back lots of cards, but I put more than enough postage on it. I sent enough cards to hopefully help spread the cheer to everyone so give them out as you see fit. They aren't as sharp as last year's Duresses, but a crappy alter is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! Maybe?
Personally, I've left this card out due to the abundance of eldrazi in EDH
