Based on the numbers and pattern on the cards, which kind of promo this card would be on MTGO?

See the games from SCG Indy and it seems that our new T2 format is getting slower.

For Eldrazi to shrine, there are a couple ways I could think of : (1) Ramp as fast as you can to get some giants on the fields. (2) Make everything even slower and slow enough for you to cast huge creatures. WB seems to be the answer to that. I actually think about making it into Esper Eldrazi but since we might need to use a lot of colorless lands in the deck.

This is the deck I am thinking to build. Need your suggestions and opinions.

    The concept :
    - Try to exile many cards from opponent's hand or from the battlefield. Get Blight Herder and ready to sacrifice your scions to get Ulamog or Ugin into play.
    - In the very late game, Sanctum of Ugin will help you to get another big things when you cast one big thing. It guarantee that even you cast Ugin with Scion, you still can search for Hangarback without need of many mana available.
    SB
    - Infinite Obliteration now seems very good against Bring to Light deck. It could remove all Ojutai or Siege Rhino in their hands once you Transgress the Mind your opponent. Exiling can be a fuel for your Blight Herder as well.

What do you think I should add or cut? Or, do you think this deck seem not plausible at all? Thanks!

It might not be that bad as many people think. It is not legendary so if you have two on the battlefield, the ability gives you a chance to have 3 cards ,which is not bad for RDW late game. I don't think it needs Hexproof. Regent interaction is enough.

Have potential in RDW decks in T2. Kind of like it but seems difficult to use. Should be fun with Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker ultimate.

Ojutai Exemplars is not that great. The 4/4 body couldn't make much impact on the current Meta, which you have Tasigur, Siege Rhino, and tons of tokens to be able to block it.

Aetherling or Morphling see play cause they have flying or unblockable.

  • posted a message on Fall 2015 is Return to Zendikar, 100%.
I think there is a possibilty for Return to Zendikar (probably with other different names). Just don't think it will be 100%. The reasons that I think Zendikar could be back cause :

    1) A lot of cards to support colorless permanents in KTK and FRF. This would make the possibility of artifact decks against multi-colored. Makes T2 more diverse.

    2) The storyline has Sorin, Ugin, and there are also Nihiri in the flavor text. This could possibly hint what the next set could be about.

    3) Wizards like to set the themes different in each set. - RTR : focus on 2 color combination - THS : focus on monocolor (Devotion) - KTK : focus on three colors. There is a high chance that the next one will be focusing on colorless themes. It could be Alara as well (5 color). We will see what will happen.

Agree with GregWhiteside. You need to increase number of lands. Besides that,

    1) Try to increase the number of key cards: Not to put just 1-2 per card. This will make your deck more stabilized.

    2) There are some unplayables I saw in the list : Should take them out and replace with some playables

Howl of the Horde >> Why do you need this card? Change it to Crackling Doom or some spells that you really want it may be a better idea. Your deck doesn't contain many Instant/ Sorcery.

Kill Shot >> There are many other cheap and better removal spells such as Valorous Stance.

Nomad Outpost >> should be a playset. Will help your manafixing much better IMO.

Mardu Banner >> Take them out. They are too slow. Your deck strategy needs to be aggressive and focus on many creatures I guess?? >> Put RabbleMaster or Hordeling Outburst if you have limited budget.

    Good luck.

  • posted a message on The next Planeswalkers Duel Decks
There is no way it will be Nico Bolas VS Ugin. The trend seems to be the main character of the set VS another random planeswalker.

Why? Look at the last two DD.
    (1) Jace (Main Character) VS Vraska (Random PW with no story line in the novel at all)
    (2) Elspeth (Main Character) VS Kiora (Kiora does have some impact in the story but much smaller than Xenagos and Ajani. Ashiok was actually the one that I predicted but he/she did confront with Dack already so that might be the reason.)

I think Wizards try to put 2 PW in this way to (1) elaborate more of details about the main character (2) give a little more story to the unknown PW.

My guess that the next DD will be Sarkhan VS Random PW in DTK. Let's see.

Is this supposed to ask about Sleeper of the Set? If so, here are the sleepers in my thought :

    1) Whisperwood Elemental : $4 is way too low for this card. Antiboard swipe? Mythic? Why show no love on it?

    2) Brutal Hordechief : $5 Hellrider??? Hellrider was at $20 once it was in T2. This is upgraded version of Hellrider IMO.

    3) Flamewake Phoenix : Red Deck Win loves it. I can see it is in every Red decks. Look for person who help it from graveyard? Ask Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker or Ashcloud Phoenix when you need help. Absolutely easy can go beyond $5 mark. $3 is too cheap for me.

I am a big fan of Magic trailers since Innistrad. Where is FRF trailer? Is it coming or we would not see one again? Why does KTK have no novel either?

Sorry if this doesn't belong to this forum. Feel free to move it somewhere you think it fits.

  • posted a message on Your top cards for Standard constructed from Fate Reforged?
    1) Monastery Mentor
    2) Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
    3) Whisperwood Elemental (Underrated Mythic : He is very good card - Anti-Board Wipe)
    4) Brutal Hordechief
    5) Wild Slash
    6) Dromoka, the Eternal (Sleeper IMHO)
    7) Valorous stance
    8) Tasigur, the Golden Fang
    9) Mastery of the Unseen (Sleeper IMHO : Very Good in UW Control OR Abzan Manifest : similar to White God but better CMC. )
    10)Soulfire Grand Master

Dragon is a bomb. But still think the Rare is better since it is warrior that can generate infinite warriors. Warriors have many cards to support in KTK and I think it would fit better in Draft. Also, Dragon costs 2 Red, which is harder to cast.

Just curious. Is normal creature considered a face up creature,? I mean the one that didn't turn face up by unmorph or unmanifest.

If so, I think this card is very solid.
