Hello, I played mono white D&T when I started playing modern probably 6 years ago, and I really liked the deck, alot of decisions and you need to know the field to have sucess with the deck.
Last week I bought a B/W Eldrazi & Taxes in MTGO and I'm having a blast with it. Awesome deck, very powerfull creatures and alot of strategy. But I'm having ALOT of trouble against discard decks, I'm not sure what to board out/in. I got destroyed at friendly league, went 1-4 winning only against burn, the other 4 matches were all against discard decks (grixis shadow twice, B/R rogue deck with blood moon and damnation main deck and the other I don't remember). Gonna post my deck here and I would really appreciate some opinion on it, if I should change something, etc.
The UWR match up is the worst match up playing SSS but it improves alot with young pyro. The plan is kinda simple, always play one threat at a time, and try to protect it. Playing around electrolyze is extremely important.
I'am playing UR delver with spellstutter sprite ( Hoogland's version ) and there is a play that happened alot of times with me and I want to know what you guys would have done. I just played against GW hatebears and he started playing with temple garden tapped. My hand was Delver, spell snare and the other cards are irrelevant. Would you turn one delver or land and keep spell snare for counter turn 2 drop? The other play is against GW too or Merfolk and I on the play with Delver and spell pierce on my hand. Similar thought, turn one delver or land and keep spell pierce for vial?
Played 3 best of three in the cockatrice against Zoo today (won 2 lost 1).
I lost all first matches, I just couldnt keep up with the damage. It is even more dificult when they start! Sometimes I have a Delver in hand, but after turn 1 Wild Nacatl, I prefer to hold on the delver to try to stop the Zoo from assembling a big army on the table (spell snare in hand). I believe I'am making the right call, but who knows. Maybe I'am being results oriented when I got my ass raped when some of my opponent casted 2 burning three's and a tarmogoyf in turn 2.
Now, I believe this is a bad match up even post-board.
I board in +2 Engineered Explosives, +2 Spellskite, +2 turn//burn, +2 dismember.
I took it out -2 Electrolyze (dunno if its right), -4 remand, -1 mana leak, -1 spell snare (mistake I think!).
Spellskite was MVP 2 best of three winning 3 games blocking his creatures and protecting my delver.
EE didnt show up, but I think can turn the table to my favor in a number of ocasions.
Turn//burn is another card that made me kill 2 goyfs that definitely won me the game.
One thing that I want to know, against affinity I always board delver out, but decided to keep it against Zoo cause the creatures are a bit more resilence making the control game more dificult. Right call or not?
The changes that I made in the new meta is using 3 spell snare main, and I decided to cut 2 spellskite to use 2 engineered explosives. The best use that I had with Spellskite is avoiding my Creatures of getting burned. It never won games against Twin, and once in a life time it helped against arcbound affinity. I'am not saying this is bad, but I think EE can make a biger impact on the game. Can win impossible games against Agro, specialy against Zoo that is a very bad match up for us.
I cut the Sword Fire and Ice to use another Sword Light and Shadow on the board.

SSS version or Pyro version you are running vapor snag?
I have played with Snag on the SSS version but alot of times it was just a very bad top deck that I decided to cut it off.
