we played multiplayer and i was playing the good old hive mind deck with the pacts, so i cast hive mind followed by pact of the titan and an intervention pact so my friends had to pay 8 mana to survive at their upkeep, i kill 3 of them and my last friends cast 2 manamorphose giving himself 2 white and a red and he had enough lands to paid the mana. i didnt have white mana so i lost GG

yeah for 3 and in white, trust me ive tried to make this card work too many times and each time the 1 more mana is so painfull i just give up.

if we ever get memory lapse in modern, ill rearenge my scapeshift deck as a RUG deck thats 100% sure

by aggro deck i guess you meant dredge? because thats the main reasons we play anger over sweltering suns and since there is no dredge player in my meta i think this will be perfect (for me) since everyone at my LGS plays etither 8rack, eldrazi tron, homebrew and death shadow variant.

sweltering suns and anger are dead cards against deathshadow and 5 damage can get rid of tarmo and you know if i get that lili at the same time its cool, like i said i will try it but for my meta only, i wouldnt bring this to a tournament and testing never hurts

is it just me or does jace looks like he has a bad back?

my friend runs this deck as his main deck and he seemed pretty happy about it, i told him it could be good but what if i cast a reality smasher the turn right after you wiped my board? he said what if you cast it and i have 4 mana open and a mutavault? take 3 damage instead of 5 but i eat more damage thanks to your other creatures. he said if he manage to reach 4 mana, he still could fatal push other creatures if he really needs to survive, and lets be honest, beside reality smasher, there isnt that much creatures with haste roaming around in modern so the ''no untap'' close doesnt affects him that much. besides goblin guide and monastery swiftspear what else is played with haste?i guess through the breach counts but he should have made you discard that card by than...


with ravens crime and his high land count, its the perfect match for his deck since he doesnt need much open mana for his 1-2 mana spell and a wrath for 3 is crazy good when facing any creature heavy deck like almost every deck in modern right now.

i had trouble with this too, when you create a deck you need to put numbers before the card name or it wont work. you dont have to use the card tag, here is an exemple with no number before matter reshaper


and here with a number before the card name



i also tried conduit of ruins and didnt like it, id rather play a second all is dust or a second batterskull.
each time i used him he felt like a win more card and i took it out, maybe it will work bether for you, keep us updated on your tourney

I want more Eldrazi. Haterz can hate.

I was just coming here to post about that. After ROE, I was really excited for more Eldrazi. after BFZ and Shadows blocks, i never want to see them again, they completely forgot what Eldrazi were. ZEN and WWK were fantastic sets, let's hope Wizards gets at least a little bit of that. if they botch this as bad as BFZ block, i hope they just destroy the plane.


I don't want t go back to Theros, it was underpowered and boring.



The second one, the 'monster set' smbol looks a lot like Lorwyn block, that could be exciting if that kind of power and creativity is around

That's quite a lot of stats on a two-drop, this thing really threatens to be the backbone of a justified Angel Tribal deck.

Hey, at least they will have kept their promise, I guess.

Bolt kills a creature (not Serpent) whereas attacking the GY makes Serpent and Pteramander basically irrelevant.

My biggest issue with delver is that it incentivizes you to play t1 and then have it survive and either luck into flipping or require library manipulation to set up any kind of clock. At that point you're protecting the queen for 7 turns (long time in modern) to drive home the kill assuming your opponent doesn't have any lifegain.

Play it any later than that and you start brushing up against your opponent seeing significant chunks of their deck and executing their game plan or stopping yours.

Imho blue needs more "free" spells like shoal before this can really become a reality.

You may still occasionally win when you can snag something pivotal like a reanimation spell from grishoalbrand sure. Decks like elves will bury you by t3 easily. Neither of those are tier decks, and those tier decks routinely carve through weaker decks in larger tournaments.

Imho budget for modern is a much higher bar than people give it credit for.
