agreed, this is too little to keep the hype alive....ill never understand why they dont give 5 commons each day, by the end of the 2 weeks spoiler we would have them all but i guess ill have to wait for friday and miss some gems like always because of there stupid spoiler system
i dont get why the best aftermath card that we have seen so far is uncommun.....should be the other way around, this rare and all other aftermath cards unco.....

i like it but our list is so tight it might not make it but i like the idea of having free thought-knot seer token or any of our creatures once they have been removed, also works with walking ballista but it wont be able to ping though.
edit: more thoughts on the ballista, you could just cast it for 0 and go to combat and get a free 4/4 with haste, the more i think about the card the more i have to test it!
I'm surprised to be saying this, but I actually think Nephalia Academy is pretty good. It's won me multiple games against the Shadow variants at this point by protecting Chalice, Karn, and Reality Smasher at different instances. Being Thoughtseize proof feels really damn good, and the opportunity cost (1 flex slot) is pretty low. I think it's worth it based on how much Shadow I'm seeing. Rolling with it.
i totally agree, sacrificing my 4th ghost quarter for a single nephalia academy has been great, each and every time i have a map in my opening hand i try using it to get the acadamy if i play against a heavy discard deck (8+ discard spell) and so far its been really usefull drawing my discarded answer that otherwise woud have made me lose the game...chalice of the void and all is dust comes to mind

first welcome to mtgs
now about deck list, you need to use the deck tag and you need to put numbers before the cards names or it wont work,also you dont need to use the card tag to link a specific card, the deck tag will do the work for you if you use numbers!
second thing, please try to eddit your post instead of posting 2 comments back to back in the same thread, idk the reasons but mods doesnt like it when you do that, try to wait for someone to answer your post before posting again or just eddit your first post.
@WarMachinePrime It will not help as TKS isn't 'discard' it's exile. I think Nephalia Drownyard is pretty bad overall and there are certainly better options in GQ, Buried Ruin, or Tec Edge. Even Cavern is probably a better option in the flex spot.
Good point on the exile part. If the meta is heavy with discard, it can be an option. I don't think I said its an auto-include though. Niche/meta-dependent only. See above post ^^^

Sure wish Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh just spoiled was colorless. Magic 7 cmc planes walker point. I suppose he could be tested for fun with Cascading Cataracts. But he's a non-bo with AiD and Ugin himself. Oh well.
May as well run green in Tron and run Oath of Nissa instead.
Tempting isn't it? I'll keep hoping for another colorless walker to show one of these days. RG Tron may think about new Bolas though.
Lastly, I see a glimmer of the future. If Bolas is now a 7cmc walker over his old 8 cmc, maybe we will get a new Ugin walker at the magic 7 cmc as well. Time will tell I guess and its probably too far in the future to even think about.
i have suggested oath of nissa and/or cascading cataracts to cheat bolas in play, in the hours of devastation modern thread and there was that one guy who denied my thoughts and told me to git gud in english and that paradox engine was the way to go if we want to play him... i was about to reply him that with my way and a little help from either chromatic star or chromatic sphere we could get bolas online turn 3 thanks to oath. i guess he realised it and thats why he deleted his hatefull comment.
id really like a new karn for 8 unless he died in the story or something... or just a new karn, lol id even take a reprint at this point since i dont own any
with magic 25th anniversary just around the corner we might get a return to dominaria set, so we might get a colorless urza planewalker, how sweet would that be?
im no specialist on the magic lore but if i remember correctly i read somewhere that urza weild all 5 magic colors? if so we might see the first 5 color walker? just some random thoughts but i guess all ET players would like some more playable colorless walker!
Why would "Tron" play Oath or Cascading Cataracts (purely a gimmick card) or even Bolas ? It is incredibly contrived. Planar Bridge seems more viable.
They have Ancient Stirrings and Karn+Ugin which are better and easier to cast.

i agree with memory lapse though, the wrath will see play in 8rack and i already feel how annoying it will be to eat a wrath turn 3 followed by raven's crime turn 4, my friend play 8rack as his main and he was pretty happy about it and he thinks its all he needs to make his deck tier1.
lets be honest besides goblin guidemonastery swiftspear and reality smasher wich other haste creatures sees play in modern? through the breach? not supposed to happen with his 36 discard spells that only cost 1 or 2, once he reach 4 mana its gonna be hard to deal with his crap, get your foil nephalia academy while they are cheap!

using removal is probably a bether way to go though
i hate it when they keep 100+ common for the last days, couldnt they give us a couple common when they spoil unexciting cards like that?
