I would only play copter with rallier so you can return it if need be. The best sequence I've had is turn 1 hierarch - turn 2 copter and nacatl - turn 3 crew with nacatl attack discard 2 drop, fetch into rallier and bring back the discarded card.
Went 4-1 losing to jund, in game 3 I was stuck on two lands nearly the whole game with three bloodbraid elfs in hand. By the time I was able to cast them, I was behind and his BBE were mich better than mine.
2-1 Mirror. He got stuck on 2 forest and a plains game 3 and I doubled ghost quartered him.
2-1 UWR Gesit. He was playing spell queller and decided to queller my BBE instead of the knight I cascaded into and eventually pathed the queller to cascade again. lol
1-2 Jund read above. Note: ultimated Domri game 1
2-1 RG ponza. He got stuck on 1 land game 3, really need turn one noble
2-0 Mono white taxes. Pretty easy

It's been over a year since I posted last, and now that modern might actually be fun to play again, I thought I might chime in every once in a while. Here is the list I've been messing with:
I haven't really played/payed attention to modern whats so ever recently, so I imagine the board needs quite a bit of work. The maindeck is really geared towards beating the grindy decks like Jund and UWR. The value of voice and rallier are important in both those matchups for the additional value they give, given the amount of removal both Jund and UWR have. I had smiter in for rallier for LOTV and remand/leak but felt like it was too cute and wanted more long term value at that slot. I think the biggest issue we have still is the death shadow/tron match ups. Tron has always been a pain and with Jund coming back, it really only gets better. 3 Blood moon and the quarter are them, a 3rd stony silence may even be necessary; especially with the potential affinity rise. Shadow has bigger creatures than us, and outisde of path, we don't really have a good removal option for it.I also want to include a treetop village somewhere, but I'm on the fence about shaving an arid mesa as I've always liked having 12 fetch lands.
I'm still not 100% convinced that zoo is still playable, but I would love it to be.

We both know that that is not always an option or a guarantee.

Okay, so I know I haven't posted in here for forever, I lost interest in modern during/after eldrazi winter and didn't really start playing it again until recently. I've been playing domain zoo list below:
I consistently went x-1 with this over the last month; but that's not what I'm here for. I am super excited to start messing around with renegade rallier. With the format finally slowing down (hopefully) with prob / grave troll banned and the printing of fatal push, this provides awesome card advantage along with collected company. I think the cards to bring back with guy are voice, ghost quarter, goyf, horizon canopy and selfless spirit.
This is what I started to mess around with initially:
Round 1 RW Prison 2-0
Round 2 RG Tron 2-1, he had turn 3 tron in all 3 games
Round 3 Blue Moon 2-0
Round 4 UWR Nahiri 1-2, game 3 got flooded and only revealed a creature to domri 3 times out of the 10+ times I activated him.
Round 5 Elves 1-2, only won because of canonist
I would snap mulligan. Bolt is already really bad, command is bad unless they play a pyroclasm and the only pressure you have is a smitter, I'd keep if you had a pridemage.
I would play elspeth over gideon. I haven't played with big zoo for a while, at least until the new thalia comes out, so I'm not sure if 4 paths is right. I was playing 3 when I started play bushwacker zoo a lot more.
I really like evolution, and I'll probably end up messing around with it. I can see a build with 1 new thalia, 1 huntmaster, 1 teeg, 1 thundermaw, 3 voice, 1 tireless tracker. This is a really powerful toolbox card.
