I didn't want to play the Teeg but I forgot to take him out of the board before the tournament started. Not sure what to replace him with.
Thalia was awesome, like her much more than voice.
Back on smiter, thoctar is great but is awkward and can be very unreliable at times.
I also like finks over firewalker now, because of the versatility of its power in multiple matchups. Also burn is starting to play reality hemorrhage.
I'd bring in all 6 against tron and Bx eldrazi. I would only bring in the blood moons against heartless eldrazi, since I don't think they play any artifacts.
Since the heartless summoning version dosen't play relic, the matchup is much better for us. Every turn I killed him he could have untaped and cast ulamog. The matchup seems fine for us, I'm not sure if he was playing thought not seer or not, cause that card seems pretty good against us.
I love the idea of splashing blue but as much as I love savage knuckleblade, I don't think it's good as a 4 of. Knuckleblade is very awkward with a basic plains in play, and I always fetch stomping ground-plains regardless of the splash. I really like rhox war monk to pair with knuckleblade and replaces miter.
I also don't think collected company is very good anymore, there's gonna be so much burn, infect and affinity that I think it's way too slow. Elspeth is probably better and has less variance.
I probably won't be playing voice of resurgence anymore since it was really only good against twin and GBx. I'll probably go back up to 3 ooze/ 3 pridemage.
I was really hoping that they would unban bloodbraid elf and ban something from bloom, but banning twin is the worst thing to happen to the format. I have no idea how to move on with zoo, it might be right to play a counter cat or blue zoo version to beat tron and combo but then you get eaten alive by affinity and burn. Maybe retreat to coralhelm to the way to go again. It should be interesting to see what happens at the pro tour; hopefully it isn't just dominated by burn, affinity, and tron.
I don't think blood moon is as good as people think it is against tron, its still amazing against amulet, but tron can just play their 6th, 7th, and 8th land and kill you. Stony silence is really the best card against them, since it shuts off their cantrips and maps. I'd rather have negate and unified will to shut off their big threats. I think thats where the blue splash is at its best. Against grixis, I think bant charm is better than blood moon; you can occasionly lock out a grixis player by blood mooning them, but any competent grixis player should be able to play around it.
Round 1 BW Eldrazi 2-0 bant charm was great by tucking multiple blight herders
Round 2 UW Tron 0-2 mulliganed every hand and nearly won on a mull to 4, but didn't get there. WIsh I Gaddock teeg in the board
Round 3 Temur Company 2-0 He has awkward draws and I drew out of a bad mulligan, geist and elspeth are an amazing couple
Round 4 Esper control 2-0 Love playing against slow control decks, geist and voice were great here
Round 5 GW hatebears 2-1 He didn't ghost quarter my lands so I was able to jam with geist and win. Game 3 I had turn 3 Sigarda on the play and wrapped up the game soon after
Round 1 Grixis Twin 2-0
Round 2 UG with B 2-1 Magus game 1 was amazing
Round 3 Grixis Control 2-1
Round 4 Affinity 1-2 punted game 3, should have won
Round 5 UR twin 2-0
Round 6 RG Tron 2-1 struggled to win even with stony silence and blood moon. He could not find any threats
ROund 7 UR twin 0-2 Made bad mulligan decisions and had awkward draws (not drawing any fetch lands so knight was tiny)
Really liked the deck, especially the board but I think I'll change the magus into an Elspeth, knight errant or dromoka's command.
I will be playing in the open in Charlotte this weekend and played in a tournament yesterday testing out one of the two decks I'll be deciding on playing.
The sideboard for the blue version is still a work in progress
I went 3-1 losing to Grishoalbrand with the naya version and liked it. I did beat tron 2-1, even with a turn 3 blood moon that got destroyed with an o-stone.
I'm still on the fence about Dromri, its really only good against grixis control and BGx and awful against everything else. I'm not sure Sigarda is great against grixis since having Sigarda actually resolve can be difficult. It might be right to just play Sigarda and another lavamancer or 2. I was also considering playing a main deck magus of the moon over the dromoka's command, since it appears tron, Bx eldrazi and bloom will be very popular this weekend.
Against the eldrazi decks I would side out tarmogoyf and ooze and bring in blood moon/magus of the moon and stony silence. That match up sucks for big zoo but should be good for small zoo and nacatl burn.
My biggest advice against jund and junk is to prepare for the long game. In boarding noble hierarch is the first to get cut, I never want to top deck dorks late in a game when jund is attacking with raging ravines and drawing dark confidants. Those matchups are a grindfest and I would suggest asking people you know to play against you so you can get a feel on how to board and how to sequence properly.

Elspeth was amazing, I still think she is better than the CCs. Brimaz was also very good, especially turn 2 into elspeth pump.
I'm still working on the blue splash, because I think it will still be better. I was messing around with rhox war monk as a 3 of with lightning helix.

anything with wild nacatl is discussed here
It can't fetch stomping ground which is the best land to fetch. So I would stray away from flooded strand.
