I'm trying my best to build a sen triplet deck utilizing the power of the Esper Colors. However, there is one rule: I don't Combo. I want to make this such a control heavy deck that my opponents will be beaten by sheer exhaustion.
But the problem Im facing is what cards do I run to eventually win the game? What cards would YOU all run?
So far I have a massive amount of steal effects but thats it.
to answer your first question, I think Hunter's insight is a great card. Especially in a Counterspell intensive deck.
One addition I might add is going for Sword of War and Peace. While it may not be popular it gives you protection against Maelstroms red burn spells and white's removals. Not to mention you get double the fun of Life gain and Burn.
Another addition you should look at is Medomai, the ageless. Rafiq + Medo is two time warps, 4 if you have finest hour.
While Kira maybe great, take note that it can harm you badly if you need to boost Rafiq
Each meta is different and I dont know how yours plays out but these are a few sugggestions you may want to try out.
Hey bro! I just wanted to thank you for all the help you had given me, your deck is amazing. With the new Dragon Maze have you considered Rendered Silent? It maybe mana intensive but it can completely shut down an opponent.
What do you feel about sublime archangel? Sovereigns of lost Alara? Etc? What are your worst matchups? Is there a way you stop ramp? What turns do you try winning by?
In the mean time, explore cards like mystic remora, hunter's insight, Thassa, God of the Sea, Narset

Technically speaking, if Phantasml image gets targeted by Treachery, it dies. So my question is, do I get treachery's effect to untap my land?
