it uses hogaak brodge from below and altar of dementia to have a combo kill outside the combat step. Look at Kanister streaming the deck it seems pretty broken imo. Every single obnoxious deck that isnt Tron is centered on abusing faithless looting.
What do you guys think of the new Hogaak Vine deck being a potential t3 Violator with a fast clock and self sustaining combo kill? it seems like every time a new degen deck comes out... faithless looting is the culprit and makes decks with unfun play patterns thats hard to interact with.
to the guy who wanted manamorphose banned, Why ban manamorphose over looting? It just nets even on mana and cards unlike looting which enables 10 power into play turn 1 to 2? Storms not even a good deck anymore
Anyone think Amulet Titan might be a problem soon? This deck is a stirrings abuser and its literally winning every event in my city with all the pilots making top 8 each event. This deck seems insanely hard to hate explosive and it has a lot of grind resiliency. Thoughts?
What do people think about the MODO challenge having 3 out of 8 Creeping Dredge decks in the Top 8? Is this a concern that the deck will get nuked by Wizards again? It seems like Creeping Chill shaved the fundamental turn of Dredge significantly.
Ive been playing Storm in Modern and this deck has a lot of turn 3 kills and resilency to grind out games, should I be worried about the deck getting banned since most of my local community hates this deck and wants to see it banned? Every time I play a turn 1 Sleight i get a lot of toxicity and vitrol headed my way...
Mind if I see what kind of list you are running? I havent figured out what kind of flex slots I should use, im biased towards peers/4 remands. Also is blood moon in the 75 mandatory? I feel it autowins a lot of games postboard
I'm worried about Gifts Storm being Tier 1, I bought into the deck, it seems really powerful and could do broken things with a Mancer in play? With the rise of metagame share, do you think it could get a ban? Or does this mean Preordain will forever get the axe. I'm concerned because WOTC has a history of hating Storm out.
Has anyone tried Leyline of Sanctity in the sideboard? I'm not sure how much better it makes our BGx and Burn matchups? It seems like it takes a lot of slots in our sideboard
Thoughts on playing the 1of revival to open up plays during the combo turn and get a mancer in a gifts pile, and peers instead of remands to dig faster? I find i side out remands in a lot of matches so not sure, its been runnning much better for me during combo turns.
Has anyone played the old Pascal Wagner list with 2 cryptic commands and the noxious manamorphose infinite to win with thoughtscour/inf bolts? Just wondering if its worth the negative card advantage for a higher ceiling on the deck.
Thanks for the response, Is it safe to just replace the falls with a spirebluff? I found the falls a little awkward in my games a few times but on the flipside games with Thing Ascension can drag on. Just wanted a 2nd opinion as I see renowned players such as Pascal Wagner play with 2 Spirebluff. Also, has anyone run the noxious cryptic build over the helix build? I feel the former isnt as stable but has a lot of potential
Hey folks, I've been wondering if its worth it to play the full set of Spirebluff Canals instead of sulfur falls and a few fetches? I've been thinking about immunity to choke and a smoother manabase against Aggro is worth it, we cap out at 3-4 lands generally anyways
