Preface: I am a casual player. I am not a pro, nor ever claim to be.

I played a guy a few months back. I "Good gamed" a game where he was mana screwed-- clearly not trying to add bad intentions-- and he said "no it was not" with clear annoyance. The following game was fairly close, ending with him winning a 7-0 life game. He once again rebuffed my "good game". Game 3, I was flooded, and lost, saying nothing before being taunted.

If you guys think that this is how Magic should be played, I don't want to play against you.

I would just adjust sweepers. There are still a lot that target permanents. Those have always been choice, anyway, because even the permanent spot-removal is more flexible. Desert Twister, for example, though expensive is always in mono-green for me. Confiscate is always in blue.

I'd prefer not to have to spend 2-3 extra mana on every single sweeper. All-permanent removal is at a premium, not only at cmc, color restrictions but it is also cost prohibitive for casual players. Merciless Eviction turns from a useful utility spell that can get rid of combo pieces into just a commander sweeper. Monowhite gets completely screwed, with swords, path and condemn all losing significant value against Planeswalker commanders. Fated Retribution costs 7 cmc. Cataclysm and Planar Cleansing aren't always cards you will want to play because it hits a lot of your other stuff. The new legendary rule also hurts blue here. And removal is a problem? Try finding cards that put a Planeswalker to the bottom of a deck like Condemn.

I'm not saying these cards are broken, or that there aren't ways to get around them. I'm just saying that removing them 3x a game is going to be a problem for many decks.

The big challenge with these planeswalkers is that they are immune to almost all sweepers and removal. Even hexproof and indestructible commanders are removed with many of the sweepers out there. In this case, you will need to use premium removal like vindicate/ utter end/dreadbore/ hero's downfall just to get rid of one. It also devalues cards like Control Magic, or Merieke. Direct damage spells like Lightning Bolt are rarely used in this format, making them even more powerful.

If planeswalkers are going to count as commanders, they should be targeted/hit by everything that targets other commanders. They may not seem overpowered now, but the real problem is that they are going to be very difficult to deal with.

One mana counterspells are almost always good. This is good early game, and late game. This will see constructed play.

Blue has seen a lot of really awesome cards over the years that can be used in almost any game or scenario. This card seems like the next in the line of extremely useful cards. I have no idea if or when it will be used outside of EDH, but I'm sure it will find a place.

Do you know what I love? 10 cent rares that will never be worth anything... but are still very very good in limited. Atleast when you look at a low value rare, you can still find a place for it in your deck, especially here with the colorless mana.

I don't think it is win-more either. Big board states get ugly all the time in limited, and this charges right through.

A 4 mana 2/3 with conditional etb shock in a color that doesn't like high costed cards. Seems like an awesome, early pick in limited.

    Here are my thoughts:

This cannot be used to kill potential chump blockers, without some kind of flash.
Generator Servant's haste effect isn't useful here.
This cannot push damage over into a Sylvan Carytid, but can be used to unexpectedly finish off creatures that seemed like a profitable block.

    Decent card, meh in constructed.

That Teferri Ultimate seems out of place doesn't it? He costs 6 Mana, can't activate the ultimate and survive for another 6 turns, and that is assuming you don't use the -1. Without acceleration or counter manipulation, we're looking at a turn 12 ultimate.

As a commander, the ultimate will be limited to blue planeswalkers and Karn.

Something is giving you the idea that banning all of the reserved list cards is going to save legacy. It won't; it would destroy legacy. Duals, LED, City of Traitors, Gaea's Cradle - they are all VERY important parts of the format. You can ban them all and keep the name "legacy," but it won't be the same "legacy" format that people actually like to play. I'd like reserved cards printed so that MORE people can play with them. I don't want them banned so that NO ONE can play them.

The reserve list will not be reprinted. Banning/reprinting reserved list cards would seriously hurt currently legacy. Both options will hurt the game big time in the short run, and many legacy players would leave.

However, at some point something needs to be done, and it is clear that the reserve list isn't going anywhere. With it, and the current pace of reserved list growth, we could start seeing legacy decks valued around the same price as the downpayment of a home in the next 4-5 years. I don't see the format being sustainable unless we see a drastic change.

Here is a solution: Ban any card that cannot be reprinted from Legacy

    Boom.

I have always loved this idea. If you want to pay vintage prices for a deck, why not just play vintage? It might hurt dual prices a bit, but with them legal in commander-- and there is no reason for them to not continue being so -- I doubt it would last long.

It might immediately bump shock/fetch/filter prices, but atleast those are technically reprintable.
If you have always loved this idea, I'm going to guess you don't play legacy. People who don't play legacy aren't the best people to manage the banned list.

The only direction that reserved list prices is going is up. For most cards, banning them in legacy won't change that. At some point, legacy will die out and will be played only in the way vintage is played. How long do you think legacy will last once duals hit $1000 each? $2000 each? Why not save the format? Otherwise Modern will become the new legacy.

The thing about deathtouch is that one or two deathtouch creatures clog the board immediately. You might get more results if you rip out a few and replace them with demons like Desecration Demon. Also adding red for Master of Cruelties could be a fun win condition here. Burning Anger would be very nice here. Vraska could add some fun to the deck while still very much in theme.

Remove aspect of gorgon. So many of your creatures already have deathtouch that it doesn't help much -- first strike would probably help. Or Burning Anger.

This may be a printing glitch that swapped rares from one pack with uncommons from another. Supposedly one of the larger card shops in Massachusetts received several boxes with missing rares, and 4 uncommons.

Heroic starts to become too strong with this card, thus no inclusion.

The same thing with Birds of Paradise and Enchantment Creatures -- if you turn a t1 mana dork into a t4 monster that replaces itself, the card suddenly becomes very good.
