Since the announcement of Dragon's Maze, I have read a lot of people talking about Jund... "Oh this card would probably fit a Jund deck" and so on.
However, by browsing the proven and established decks, I could not find a single topic about Jund !
Would someone be kind enough to explain to me what is Jund exactly ? Who is he, why Jund, how is it played, what makes him who he is, which colors does he like the most etc.
The frame looks like all the other cards I have... The one of "From the Vault", the title and the type are both in bubbles instead of being in the frame.
I was looking at some cards and I was wondering if this combo would be viable to troll my friends a bit, so it is by no mean intended to be competitive, just fun
What I would like to do would be to play Channel to put Eldrazi (Hoping for Emrakul ... xD), Worship & other spells down while dropping my life to 1, then play NDE using Eldrazi annihilator to avoid being countered / destroyed.
The cards which I've set as most important are Emrakul, Channel, Worship, NDE. I've added others only to "make it happen" and have something in case nothing goes right with the draws.
If this build could be played and you have any idea what kind of cards would allow it to do so, let me know please
I started building this deck to give it a try when playing with my friends, however I was wondering if it would be viable to replace Noble Hierarch with Birds of paradise and Horizon Canopy with Selesnya Guildgate considering I just want to try out the deck to see if I'm enjoying it or not before going deeper in the expenses ?
After playing a bit with my deck, I did realize I needed more Rancor, so I bought 3 more. You gave some great suggestions and better versions of what I was using, thanks.
As for what I am trying to do with my deck, I am trying to make it an aggressive deck with low cost creatures that I could buff to beat down my opponents. Since those against who I play are quite buffed up with counterspells and exiles, I thought it would be great to have Hexproof creatures, since the Hexproof enchantments were just being exiled lol
Most of the G/R I have found uses Tarmogoyf, however the Bogle G/W deck seems to look alot more like what I am trying to achieve.
I started playing not too long ago as G/R and I could probably use some help... I made my deck with the cards that I had and I am looking to improve it. I will go to the card shop again soon.
I also have 2 Cavern of Souls resting, but I plan to get 4 of these.
I am trying to put together an aggro deck to give me early advantages since I am mostly playing against deck which gets powerful later.
I am open to any suggestion, even switching a color if I need to, thanks for your time!
PS.: I'd rather stay away from Tarmogoyf. I know this card is completely OP, but all my budget would go only in this card otherwise, so no 4 Cavern of Souls nor any good lands.
Actually I was thinking of trying to trade it for a cavern of souls, since my geist is purely mint (directly from booster to plastic envelop), I expect to trade it for at least a NM CoS
Should I stay in G/R for swarm decks ? Or should I move onto something else ? I'm keeping track of Caverns of Soul price, as soon as I get a good deal I'll jump on it. Not sure if I should get a 4x package or get single ones though. Would eBay be the best place to buy this kind of card or are there some hidden gems ?
By playing a few games, I grew quite interested in Black and Red, especially since my THREE red spells allowed me to decimate my opponent before dieing hehe
So we played a bit yesterday night... I must say, it was a total nightmare. I realized how heavy my deck was on mana ramping and Im really starting to wonder if it's worth the trouble. I didn't pick any mana trick card until turn 6-7, so I was quite dry mana-wise (and I have a bunch of those cards in my deck...)
Also, since we do 2vs2 or FFA, it's quite a pain to get a single creature out. I have to make sure people with counters don't have enough mana to cast it, then I need to release my creature with an enchantment giving Hexproof minimum (using Alpha Authorities), however this one gets Oblivion Ring as soon as they can then a murder or similar card is used on my cards right away. In a 2vs2 game, I am quite sure that our opponents have at least 12 counters, 8-12 murder-like cards, 8-12 exile cards.
The only way I was able to do something was by using Searing Spear and other direct damage dealing spells, which allowed us to kill one opponent. However, by the time I was able to kill him with these spells, I was dead on the next round and it was pretty much over, considering his ally had over 50hp.

Flamekin Harbinger, Arc Runner, Ball Lightning
The flamekin would also help to use something like Force of Savagery
Is there an easy way to avoid getting fooled ?
EDIT: Nvm, on Gatherer the filter seems to work
Guess it won't do without Channel, the deck would be way too slow
Thanks

Mantis, are you sure Troll worship is in the established forum ? I can't find it :S
PS: Nevermind, found it in this forum

Should I ask at my card stores the price they will have for the box ?
EDIT: I've found "CartaMagica", however their site is pretty broken...
