Bob is an absolute powerhouse, thats true, so is Mentor.
But the problem i face with Mentor is that he dies, on every removal in this format.
And Mardu cant protect him with reactive cards like counters.
I think what Mardu lacks is a Tarmogoyf/Snapcaster Mage analogue. A really solid 2-drop to help you last the game while you get your bigger threats online.
That's exaclty what i have noticed, we have very good disruption but we dont have cheap threats, that close games on a empty board.
Goyf, Snappy, Siege Rhino or Geist of St Traft.
Nahiri adds consistency to the deck and helps with one of our weaknesses, espcially digging for burn/removal and filtering to hold hellbent for the bridge.
Stensia Bloodhall is hard to answer, with bridge and hellbent you dint have to win on spot.
Kitchen Finks needed the reprint a billion times more than remand did. It's actually an ubiquitous card, unlike remand which sees play in only a handful of decks, none of them the best 3.
And by the way, the answer to remand being expensive is to not play remand. Mana Leak is better in most circumstances anyway. A lot better.
That said, remand should have been in here. No arguing there.
Yeah, Manaleak cantrips most of the time, or in scapeshift it can win a counterwar when u mana leak your own scapeshift.
U can timewalk your opponent as a tempoplayer rly good with mana leak etc. etc.
In counterburn or rug decks u can draw into burn, removal or pressure in form of creatures.
Should i w8t or get rid of them?

So few players?

to be honest most of us dont care about virtual cards and on paper his price doesnt affected.
If a deck show ambitions to be too good, people expect that WotC will swing his banhammer and crush the meta once again!
And this will happen again, and again and again, because the banpolitic of WotC prevents the format from establish a healthy metagame.
